I really hate to be the downer, but the only thing that will brighten my day is for him to give back the two SB's he stole from the man who knows how to play the position. I still can't believe we lost to this clown TWICE!

As much as I hate to bring this game up, I honestly believe that the seeds of this NYG humiliation were sewn in Super Bowl 46.

In that game, the Giants trailed by 2 and legitimately didn't want to score a TD. They were better off running the clock down and kicking the FG. I honestly believe Eli was thinking the same thing applied here, where it was better to run some clock off than score the TD.

The key difference is that in this case a TD would be the smart play because while it gives the opposing team the ball, they would have been down by 2 scores.
