All my Indy fan friends gush about a place called "The Purple Helmet".
well, he's REALLY OFFENDED by this thread for some reason...read his dour posts and attempts to minimize with lines like''I've never heard of this place!"...heh,well, like the site says..IT'S RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF DOWNTOWN INDIANAPOLIS. So's this other place...I'm not making this up...I used something called GOOGLE and punched in a generic search...sorry if High Horse is so GD'ed offended...I've been to thousands of bars in my life but "CORNHOLE ON THE PATIO!" is a new one to me.....
Why are you being an ass to me? Your behavior is much more trollish than mine. If I posted a message this like this towards you, people would be calling for me to be banned.
and if I even ATTEMPTED to post the sour azz posts you put up in this thread earlier today at the Star board, my account would be flagged and access immediately denied.
you SURE you want to go down THIS road?
What the hell do you expect? People are insulting the women at an Indianapolis bar when they are Boston fans? That's like Rosie O'Donnell calling another woman fat and ugly.
I EXPECT that the week we play Indy is the week for Indy fans to post on this board, a PATRIOTS FAN BOARD. THAT is why I post HERE and THAT is why I DON'T post at ANY Indy Colt boards. If I were to post on those sites it would ONLY BE on game week. ANY OTHER TIME IS THE LITERAL DEFINITION OF TROLLING.
why am I supposed to keep track of the "good" Indy fans and the bad ones? I could CARE LESS what they think about the Patriots football team. If I did I'D BE ON THEIR BOARDS!!!!
No, that is not the literal definition of trolling:
He Ban Me is a Colts troll. Workhorse is not.
An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who intentionally posts controversial or contrary messages in an on-line community such as an on-line discussion forum or group with the intention of baiting users into an argumentative response. A similar individual is an Internet Thug.
Every single post by Workhorse today was CONTRARY.
first he insinuates that everybody is queer
They are just used to the 'beautiful' people at the Ramrod or 209.
nah, that's not trolling...right..got it
then he denies the place even exists...
Never heard of the place...
If I'm from Indy and never heard of it, why is it on a Patriots message board?
and why does HE want to know why it's posted here? He's not a Patriot fan...contrarian...but by YOUR definition not a troll...OH...WAIT
Given what I've read from you on this board you sound like quite the social expert.
that snarky little blast completely changes the tenor of the thread...in essence, a hi-jacking. THAT'S trolling.
why couldn't he just keep his big mouth SHUT and let the Patriots fans who wanted to, indulge in a little puerile fun? There can't be even one thread allowed during the workday to fck off in? Please, don't patronize me with your holier than thou disinformation.
Every post? Mind pointing them out?
Because I said I never heard of it, that means I claim it doesn't exist?
Never said a word about a Ramrod.
Highjacking? I thought this thread was about a social spot.
Why so over the top and hostile?
accept my humble apology
two of those quotes were by highhorse...not workhorse
guess we need more horses in here to really uncomplicate things...maybe all Colts fans should just get into horse mode to add clarity
shee-it...I may as well change to jokerhorse
OK, enough is enough. Let's say we all get together at the Ugly Monkey to bury the hatchet?
Of course I and my type can't go there. Nor any African Americans. Nor any attractive women. Or anyone with baggy pants. Or any men that don't care for sheep.
But everyone else, meet there.
Nah, it's not anywhere close to that. Look at any measure of obesity nationwide, and Boston is at the very top as one of the fittest cities in the US. I travel around a lot, and I can tel you easily that it is.
It all depends on what you're after, I suppose. Indy is a good place to raise a family, good schools for the most part, good communities.
The Ugly Monkeys of the world pop up and go out of business after a couple of years, I think cuz they are trendy little wanna be hotspot places.
There are some nice Martini bars/Cigar bars around. Nice Blues bar downtown has live music, Buddy Guy has played there several times, I believe. Sports bars range from fun and nice to complete dives.
Not Miami Beach, by any stretch. Not everyone is fat, ugly, stupid, and can be beat up by your Dad cuz he's stonger, but there are those for sure.
I'll have to watch the next Pats next home game to see all the beautiful people in the stands.
I think we need to randomly cull about 50 Indy fans here, their forums must really suck.
But I won't be there untill the Jets game. Look for the manly man behind the Pats D bench.
Wear a red white or blue piece of clothing so I'll know its you and wave early cuz I assume the Jets may forfeit at halftime.
Scenes from Boston bars...
Note the men wearing do-rags, baseball hats off kilter, AND listen to the music.
I, certainly, in no way can critique this response, nice work.
The only thing that would have been better is if you joked that it was footage from the last Patsfan forum party.
There's a Patsfan forum party? Would that be sometime after the Superbowl party?
25 Cent Beers? Ain't nuthin' wrong with that.
Exactly. What's even worse is comparing Indianapolis to Boston. Who would even think of a comparison? Go anywhere in the U.S. or even the world and poll people on which place they would rather visit and I'm guessing 9.5(had to give Indy a 1/2) out of ten will choose Boston, while some are trying to figure out what the hell is an "Indianapolis?"
Separate names with a comma.
