I'm speaking about the OL we just signed off the Minnesota PS.
He had a RAS of just over 3 coming out of college (5 being average and above 7 is considered good for linemen) was undrafted and is now on team #4 in two years. I just don't see the point, its another Walmart door greeter we are picking up. We should charge the scouts on this team with fraud.
Great points. It's just another JAG after JAG we keep adding to the OL.. even when stranger does come back.. he's not going to be in game shape. I agree the scouting department has alot to do with the roster and talent vetting.
lol... this happened when i was around the green belt level... was sparring night, and i was fighting Sensi... who was damn good... i tagged him with a reverse punch to the ribs... made the mistake of chuckling afterwards... he looked at me, said "think that was funny?" whap whap whap three seconds later i was on the ground looking up lol

It's the "if healthy" part that bothers me.
well, he helped pick me up off the floor, so that worked in lieu of a bow, lol... Kyoshi was a great guy... died way too young... only 48... it was a real treat to spar with him, and better yet to call him friend
I totally understand as I have trained in several styles over the years and seen this a time or two, sometimes to fully understand the lesson you just have to feel it. 48 is way too young and I'm sorry you lost your friend.

My progression was Taekwondo > Goju Ryu > Kenpo > Kick boxing/Muay Thai > BJJ over course of about 20 year. Black Belt is in Kenpo and did some amateur kick boxing/mma. Sadly I am getting old and injuries so I haven't really practiced in several years.
ugh, lol... i was at the upper end of my age bracket when i was on the competition team... hated having to face the younger, faster guys who were all kicks... couldn't get close lol
