He had a prominent role in one of the most expensive and grandest mini series (that few watched). As the years past he became a "that guy" in numerous TV show and movie appearances. I'd also be remiss to not mention he provided for some excellent 'bad breath' wit/ribbing between drinking buddies.
RIP Mike Connors...
Connors, born Krekor Onanian, went to UCLA on a basketball scholarship and played for the legendary John Wooden.
I wanted to include Gail Fisher (1935-2000), first black woman to win a Golden Globe(2) and/or EmmyThanks - great show!
His uncle, Virgil Trucks, was a great MLB pitcher. Threw 2 no hitters.Butch Trucks earlier this week...
You probably know this then but some might not, Derek Trucks, his nephew is an amazing musician in his own right. His uncle, Virgil Trucks, was a great MLB pitcher. Threw 2 no hitters.

RIP to Allman Brothers' drummer Butch Trucks, who also passed away on the 26th.
