Romo or Dak?

Dallas fans will be so pissed if they go back to made of glass Romo. I really don't even understand why Jerry Jones is making this into a controversy. It's an easy choice.

Whoever it is Dallas ends up choosing, I wish the Pats had their O line. Pats O line isn't bad, but the Cowboys one is the envy of the NFL

No question Dak, but I'm rooting for Romo because I'm a huge fan of dumpster fires involving teams like the Jets and Cowboys.

I heard jerry gave romo a hug as soon as he got into the building and tony had two cracked vertebra

Does it matter?

Romo will probably be injured in 0 - 2 games and they'll get Dak bak . hey just need to get a 3 game lead in the division and it will be fine to test our Romo.

Kidding (somewhat) aside. Romo is a good QB, but I'd be willing to let Dak continue as it might be tough to change your offense/identity this late in the season and it's been working well.

Rookie wall is coming. No slight to Dak or Ezekiel but biology will not be argued with..

BINGO! However that is 1 or two weeks where Dak can catch his breath.

Romo's stats since 2006:

Pass attempts:4,331
Pass completions: 2,826
Completion percentage: 65.3
TDINT: 247–117
Passing yards: 34,154
Passer rating: 97.1

Romo would have won a SB by now with a competent coach/GM.

Don't matter who they have at QB....so long as Jerry Jones is in charge, the Cowboys aren't going anywhere.

or the ability to hold onto a ball during the biggest game of his career with the win on the line, oh he bobbled the snap. the cowboys lose the cowboys lose!

Romo has great stats, except he makes the biggest mistakes under the brightest lights, and is apparently made out of paper mache. You can't coach clutch.

welcome to the Dak side

Not even Jerry is this dumb, like deb said, I truly can't believe its even a question. Truthfully I dont think it is, we joke about Jerry being a dummy goofball but I dont think he is. He's just too into it and doesn't have the control to not gwt involved and let the football people run the football.

Jerry will keep the controversy going as long as he can not because there really is one (hopefully) but because of the headlines. Keep the Cowboys in the spotlight for as long as possible. I mean they would be anyway with those two hot rookies but nothing stirs up headlines like a "team a" vs "team b" controversy.

As long as it doesn't distract or divide the team then its good for buisness to keep the nation talking about them right?

I like Dak and want him to be successful. That said, I hate Jerry. So best case scenario is Jerry goes with romo and miss the playoffs or loses game 1 again. Then Dak refuses to sign a new contract out of spite and joins the saints in future.

No love for Dallas here. Trade Dak and keep Romo!

It'll be interesting to see how Dak does against some top defenses like the Eagles and Vikings.

They've played some pretty weak teams (Giants, Redskins, 49ers, Bengals, Bears, Packers) with Elliott and the OL contributing a lot.

Romo is a better QB than Dak. Next year, not so much. I've got to see Dak play without a choke collar on to change my mind sooner than that.

Yea I gotta see Dak play against a legit defense, you never know how good a QB is until they face a top of the line defense, because any QB can shine on poor defense

Maybe Jerrah will somehow make it seem like he had the brilliant foresight to keep Dak in. Depends on how many Jack Daniels he's had and pull Stephen has.

Well, if we go by the Points per Play metric to determine if a D is good or sucky then he was below ave vs NYG who are #7.

They have Philly this weekend who are 4th behind NE, MN, and SEA.

Philly's run D is suspect so he could wind up having a decent day.

If Romo was only out a game or two and Dak played this well, the decision to go back to Romo would be an easy one. Despite what many of you think, Romo is a top 5 QB in this league and a very likable player. As Frodo said, with a competent GM/Coach, Romo would have at least one ring by now.

Unfortunately (for Romo), Dak has played more than one or two games at a pretty high level and not even Jerry has the balls to start Romo over him unless something happens.
