Wow....
Mike/Mike/Mike were horrible, but when you consider the game their were working, they looked great. Clearly ESPN didn't want to waste valuable resources on the Raiders.
Thoughts...
McFadden is ONLY a running back. He doesn't do anything amazing and if he is capable of it, the offensive line will have to block up front against that weak Denver D-line. Everyone thinks McFadden is the next game breaking offensive player, but I think Brandon Jacobs would do better back there. Not to mention he gets hurt in his first game.
Russell can launch missles off that arm of his. There was a pass to Lelie that was the fastest moving football I've ever seen. And the veteran Ronald Curry will have to step up or hit the road. He couldn't get to the ball despite the fact that Russell put it in a perfect location for Curry to get it and run.
D'Angelo "Wheres Eddie Royal" Hall officially earned the most overrated corner award, beating Al Harris because he let a rookie run him all over the place. Shout out to Royal for making Hall look like a 36 yr old nickel corner.
Al Davis needs to worry about building a team with depth of talent and not questionable talent. The entire offensive line an go, he overpaid for Javon "inactive" Walker, may be regretting the Hall trade tonight and did very little to stop the run in 08.
Raiders.... sorry fans, your team sucks and I don't think it is because Denver is good, because I don't think they are.
