One of my favorites on my favorite Pats team, Larry Centers, FB

Gordon was hard to forget for me. Such high expectations and issues the entire time. He was one guy I was routing for

A lot of the posts in this thread feel like age-related hate crimes against me.

Turns out we're coming up on the 20th anniversary of his last game in the NFL, January 1, 2006, when he was 43 years of age.

I'm sure everyone remembers the Reggie Wayne era

Does the name Keshawn Martin ring any bells? I would have sworn that I've never known anyone by that name before I reminded myself about him today.

He was a WR who we acquired in the injury riddled 2015 season, somehow started 8 games that season, playing 70% of offensive snaps in the AFCC loss to Denver, ahead of Brandon Lafell who became useless that season. Aside from that 2015 season, Martin had two career starts in his five year career.

Yes, unfortunately I do recall him from the 2015 season.........shows how desperate we got that season

THAT season more than anything was a head scratcher.....

10-0 start, 2-4 finish
If you were to come up with a top 10 list of Belichick's 'in game' coaching blunders, at least 4 would be from this season.

I think that the Mods should re-name this thread: Players who played for the Pats whose names I forgot I read in the first couple of pages.

Antonio Brown joins a long list of players that I refuse to acknowledge has a Patriot.

Yeah, but there's one at the very top of everyone's list who no one dares to mention...

Zach Sudfeld

Big tall skinny Tight End! He was like Bailey Zappe….people were desperate for him to be good and kept hyping him. In the end he just wasn’t very good! Had a season at the Jets and then his knee folded and that was his career done

I remember that DEN game we lost to fall to 10-1. I think we were winning but dealing with some injuries in the front 7 and then Hightower got hurt mid game. The Broncos proceeded to GASH us in the run game after he went down. I remember because I think after the game a reported asked BB if Hightower going down hurt the run D and he gave one of his all time pissy answers of just glaring at her and saying "what do you think" lol

Looking back at that year though, that was when we had Dion Lewis break out then get hurt and Blunt eventually go down too. Ended up needing to sign S-Jax which was... yikes. LaFell had a great 2014 then was an absolute mess that year out of nowhere. Dobson was our typical WR bust. Edelman got hurt and missed like half the year before coming back for the playoffs and having a good game vs. KC but still looking gimpy. Scott Chandler was a bust of a signing after some real buzz. Amendola got hurt at the end of the year too I believe. By the end it was Gronk and a bunch of gimpy gimps out there lol

Not sure it was already mentioned, but Jeremey Hill was the starting RB in 2018 and I think he would've had a big year had Develin not taken him out.
