I think this is one of the side effects of reduced practices (and especially reduced padded practices). Timing, especially in situations that involve physicality, is going to be lagging behind where it typically is at this point in the preseason. I think it's why we see tackling that's so poor in the first month of the season too.

There's a lot less drama there, so there's been a lot less coverage. Few, if any, really think that Lawrence won't be starting week 1.

Should be an interesting game tonight for a preseason week 2 game- Jags vs Saints where none of the starting QBs are set for either team.

I thought the Saints would have a down year but not so sure now. Pats aren't gonna get a gimme game in week 3.
