Kerry Collins face looks like he is about 60

He makes Brett Favres face look like a schoolboy

I think he will earn his money the hard way....on his back, that OL is not very good

34-0 at the half is about a whole lot more than just Peyton Manning.

I hate to dredge up this particular memory, but it's like Ravens-Pats in 2009: when the O turns the ball over deep in their own territory, they're hanging the D out to dry. Same thing here: Texans had at least two drives that started in the Indianapolis RZ.

Harrison came off back surgery relatively close to the season and his conditioning is not there.

Rice is killing the Steelers all by himself. Almost 80 yards in rushes and half that in receiving yards and it's not even halftime. They're throwing to him out of the backfield to beat the zone blitz and Steelers haven't adjusted to that or they just don't have a solution.

And according to a poster or two here, Woodhead is better than Rice, so imagine how godly our offense will be...

So the Colts beat the Pats 18-15 without Brady, Gaffney gaff, rookie bjge starting, and an awful penalty.

Let's see how the Colts fare this time around.

Wow..... Watching the Colts now. They really suck without Peyton Manning.

I know you are being sarcastic, but in a way it is the truth. The strength of that defense is their outside pass rush. If teams are getting into a shootout with Manning, it gives the Colts' defense an advantage. Now, opposing teams can run the ball much more (the Colts' defense's biggest weakness) and use the short passing game that can neutralize the pass rush.

Although I know this is true......How poorly can you build a team if thats the contingency the defense is built around?

Colts looks great....

Fumblehall strikes again.

About as bad as a team which has no legitimate back up QB even after their QB has offseason neck surgery. Or a team who has spent two first round picks on RBs yet has no legitimate lead RB.

Football Outsiders agrees. . . .

Rice: Rushing: 115 DYAR (13th), 0.8% DVOA (19th); Receiving: 120 DYAR (11th), 14.4% DVOA (21st)

Woodhead: Rushing: 185 DYAR, 41.3% DVOA; Receiving: 156 DYAR (5th), 56.3% DVOA (2nd)

Very poorly. The Colts are built around one player. It's going to be a sad season, and even more sad once Peyton moves on. Miami after Marino and Buffalo after Kelly.

Haha that was classic!

Wow! Ngata strips the ball away from Mendenhal and the the Ravens scores a TD on one play and then converts the 2 point conversion. 29-7 - Ravens.

wow, ravens keeping foot on the pedal...

It's 34-0 in the first half. You're correct to a degree, in that the defense is constructed to require a lead to be even passable. Which, to me, indicates that it's a terribly constructed defense. Especially since the Colts' offense, even with Manning, isn't even one of the five most explosive in the NFL. In short: the defense is bad, and not because Manning isn't there.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.

Someone is claiming Woodhead > Ray Rice?

I wonder how long it takes the Colts to sign Garrard?

Thor sighting in Houston (James Casey).

It is when you add in the referees.

When was the last time the Ravens blew out the Steelers?

Ever?
