You're correct to a degree, in that the defense is constructed to require a lead to be even passable. Which, to me, indicates that it's a terribly constructed defense. Especially since the Colts' offense, even with Manning, isn't even one of the five most explosive in the NFL. In short: the defense is bad, and not because Manning isn't there.
Thor sighting in Houston (James Casey).
It is when you add in the referees.
I checked out coltsfreaks.com just to see what folks there might be saying. Lots of complaining about Houston getting all the calls and Indy getting none. That was early; they seemed to have moved on to (gulp) criticizing the organization.
The only call the Colts needs to get is "Time of death is...."
Sounds like a reggae tune...
No Peyton no points
no Peyton no points
Ee little darling, don't shed no tears
No, Peyton, no points
The Steelers have three drives in the second half so far - One fumble for loss, two INTs.
When was the last time the Ravens blew out the Steelers?
Ever?
Seems like the Ravens finally figured out playing smash mouth against Pitt wasn't getting them anywhere. Maybe, just maybe the Pats were on to something with throwing short passes out in the flat and to the TE in the middle for 12 yards
