Yeah. The LoB was pretty awesome. Pretty hard to believe Carroll put all his eggs in the Wilson basket. They should have never broken up the LoB.

Really? I have to disagree. The LoB is almost completely out of football and Wilson is still a top tier QB with 5+ years ahead of him.

I like Wilson a lot but the Seahawks were never getting back to the bowl with just him and not the LoB and now of course he wants to leave because the roster is not good. Big surprise.

The Seahawks were one of the only teams that actually played Gronk like men within the rules in that Superbowl.. they were going for body shots up high, which puts them at a disadvantage, have to give them props and tip the cap because they weren't trying to turn him into a cripple by chopping out his legs like every other DB in the league

I've seen lots of what appears to be clean hits called as a penalty the last couple years. It would be called a penalty for hitting a defenceless receiver probably 8 out of 10 time now. In 2016, maybe 2 out of 10.

The fact that it was a brutal hit almost automatically gets a flag. I don't mind it except for the ambiguity of what is a penalty and what is not? What is a clean hit and what is not? It 's good for Gronk. It increases his chance to keep on playing a few more years. I'd like to see him move up the all time receiving and TD list and definitely don't want Kelce to catch up.

Seahawks have never played clean D. The DB corp is taught to grab and pull on the theory that there's only so much DPI the refs are willing to call every game because one, it slows the game down, and two, it creates the impression that the other team is being favored.

They re-signed Brown. Amazing. They really brought everyone back for a run at a repeat. Hard to see anything but the injury bug stopping them from at least getting back to the SB and getting a shot at it.

Plus Giovanni Bernard who should be a step up as a receiving back over what Jones/Fournette could do. I don't see who can stop Tampa in the NFC unless Green Bay somehow gets over their NFC Championship choking habit. Tom has a great shot at #8.

Plus the draft which is a complete luxury. I can't think of any SB champ ever doing this even back before the cap/FA. This has been an amazing off-season for them. Brady has a real shot at league MVP.

There is no one in the NFC. I will be interested to see if the Chiefs can make it back but all they did was spend a ton of money and draft capital on their 2 tackles. They did nothing on defense and would be shredded worse by this Tampa offense with Howard back and Giovanni added.

I honestly don’t know what they do in the draft. The roster is stacked. I suppose they could take a DL/Edge at 32 to backup any of Vea/Suh/Barrett/JPP. I would have said a month ago they could luxury pick someone like Etienne but now there’s no room for him with Fournette/Jones/Bernard.

With good injury luck I can see 45-50 passing touchdowns. 17 games now, plus a year of experience in the system. He threw 40 learning things on the fly in the first half of the season and Evans and Godwin were banged up most of the year. Not to mention Brown only there 8 games and Gronk spending all year getting back into game shape.

I think we’re going to see some fireworks.

Right. A year in the system AND a year learning the NFC defenses. Also, a much weaker schedule compared to last year.
