CLE now has a terrible decision ahead of them: keep Mayfield knowing he ain't "the guy", or dump him and have to do a QB search since they have no obvious successor in house?

This won’t be popular, but Chase should probably win the OROY award. He looks like the best WR in football right now.

Plenty have posted here that Chase won himself OROY today.

Mac has had a great season for a rookie and maybe pro-QB bias prevails, but Chase surely has done enough to get the award.

Also a bit of anti-Patriots bias should help Chase too.

I’d say ‘easy dump’. He’s worth keeping around, just not worth the $ he’d command. They better off w/o.

I agree, but it's hard for teams to admit their mistakes. Dumping Mayfield may cost them their own jobs.

Normally the QB gets the benefit of the doubt for awards except when another player at another position has a historic season. Which Chase is having.

Also Mac is playing for BB… and that never helps any Patriot players when it comes to awards.
