OT: NFL Gamepass

May be showing my ignorance here, but is there no app for Surface/Win 10?
I guess you just go to NFL.com and stream from there?

Opted out last year (a good decision). Did the whole iPad VPN/foreign Apple account thing a few years back...PIA.

Call them and tell them the A22 sux. Vital for content and connection to the fans but awful product. It could be so good but isn't utilized right.

Let fans watch multiple angles, live from home & obviously after at home. Some people really enjoy certain pov and it doesn't have to change if you don't want it to but think about it. Would you only watch the paint in an NBA game? Show the game from multiple angles there's 80 + cameras a game it's obviously available in game for coaches.

Show the game the right way!!
This I can get behind sir...here...here...!

Just logged in for the first time for ages (post auto renew) and everything working ok.

They've just taken payment successfully. I don't know what they changed (I think they may have been using some incompatible security protocols) but we're back in business.

By the way @BaconGrundleCandy , what makes you think that they have so much more film than the overhead A-22? I think that, while soccer (and even cricket) are very hi-tec in their filming and visual analysis, the NFL is still stuck because they don't want teams filming for themselves. So the crappy film you get on Gamepass is the same as they distribute to the teams and it's what BB and McDaniels and so on have to work with. Or am I wrong?

they are allowed to film, just not from specific areas in the stadium, but for all other angles they can and they actually do

Missing from Gamepass this year: Coaches film, Radio Broadcasts home and away, National Radio broadcast and SAP broadcasts. Ill be very disappointed if this is gone from the format this year

So what I'm suggesting is the game be shown live in different angles. If the viewer chooses those options. Like the coaches tape just live. I'd be interested in a pov looking at the front seven's back or same for OL. Maybe a sideline option eye level. Like how many cameras do we see on the sidelines while watching at home. All those screen passes, stretch plays, players crashing the sidelines.

I just want more choices. There's 80 + cameras at every game, 100 + for a SB. It should be feasible with the technology.

Don't force it on anyone. Charge an extra $100-200 depending on if it's available to watch later on to the package.

We literally watch the game from the worst possible pov at home and just accept it bc that's the way it's always been. It's like only showing basketball from the paint.

We could definitely do better mate.

I don’t care about the for the game. But can I get it for KontradictioN’s porn clips?

Yeah, you can. Wide-stretch angle, pecker pov, slow motion. You sure can.

Ah, you want something like this?

Personally, if I had to name the thing that most p*ss*s me off about Gamepass, it's that they have nothing before 2012. But there are a lot of game recordings from before then. We know that because the NFL spends time and effort blocking them when they are put up on YouTube.

OK, if you want to keep control of the recordings and charge money for them, so be it. But in that case, put them into the Gamepass package for goodness sake, instead of those stupid NFL network programs you link to.

Yup give me the whole field. And again maybe some pov that might only show the trenches. One right behind the QB or behind the LB's. I just think we can do a lot better.

So they actually had games from 2009 up until a few months ago but you're right everything they have should be available to us if we're paying.

Would you pay a little more for what I described? Different angles and views to watch the game live and at home after?

Interesting question.

I have to admit that what I most value about Gamepass is the "Game in 40": lets me watch the game without all of the irrelevancies (not least, the announcers' fatuous remarks -- Zo yesterday was an embarrassment, and he's not the worst).

I don't know enough about line play to be able to make a lot of sense, even in close-up, without some guidance. I'd really welcome a slo-mo option. So far as I can see, you can stop a play but not slow it down. But the most frustrating thing, even for a non-expert like me, is not being able to see what's happening in the secondary as the play develops. except from the blimp's-eye-view of the A-22 in retrospect. That is what makes going to a game so much more satisfying.

What I'd really love would be a "film room" post-game analysis in which the analyst had access to the extra angles. "Belichick's Breakdown" on All-Access is good, but he'd do a much better job if he had more views and angles to make his point with.

I'm not Kontradiction but Mime and Dash has been working for me.

My gamepass renewed automatically. They got their greedy claws on me and they'll squeeze as long as there's anything to squeeze. Probably even after too.
