I wouldn't. He's probably been the most consistent receiver in camp (other than maybe Douglas, but he's still unproven in real games). And with some injury history between Parker, JuJu, and Thornton, we'd be a few bad breaks away from playing both rookies for 90% of the snaps. On top of that, we'd be bailing out an opponent we play this year.

Crossing the sideline in the air should be treated the same as crossing the LoS in the air. Illegal forward pass.

Yeah - I could have been clearer. If the QB crosses the sideline before throwing, then it should be an illegal forward pass. Same as the rules for the LoS. Right now, as long as the QB has one foot at/behind then it's ok.

Can I add one other thing not quite in line with this but made me think of one of things I dislike the most in today's game.

It's when the QB acts like he is giving up and running out of bounds, forcing the defenders to give up in order to not get a late hit penalty and then proceeding to speed back up to gain an extra couple of yards, which especially sucks when he is at or near the first down marker.

I think some one needs to bring this up to the competition committee and once the QB slows up and appears to be heading out of bounds, he is declared as giving himself up.

Mahomes does this all the time and its disgusting.. using rules designed to protect you to fake out defenders to grab some more yards.
