I wanted him.
I wanted him.

If Gonzo wasn't available at #17, then JSN was my very next choice, regardless of position.

I’m willing to bury Trey Lance. If they didn’t trade up and instead drafted BPA, they probably could have had a team that could have carried Garappolo to a SB win. They were not that far off, and Micah Parsons was drafted with the first round spot the Niners traded away, and Cole Strange with the traded pick next year.I'm not willing to bury him this quickly, but... It looks at this point that Justin Fields should've been the pick at #3 (as well as #2) if SF wanted to go QB there; though they might've been better-served taking Sewell, Chase, Pitts or Waddle instead - or simply not trade Up in the first place.

he was off the board long before we ever had a shot at him
JSN? He was taken by Seattle at #20...
Awesomewhy was a zone corner in a perfect situation in Oakland. When he signed the big deal on the Eagles to be on the 2011 Dream Team, they tried to have him do things he couldn't, and he was dreadful. That's why he retired.Even during our winning.. Jets still gave us problems.. they are a division opponent they know us, we know them.. they did beat us in a playoff game on a 14-2 season.. 2010-11.
So even the most Homer's of Homer's have to recognize that Jets are for real.
Sauce to me his game is exactly like Namdi Asomugha the all-pro corner that retired young.
Rodgers, Wilson, breece hall, quinnen Williams, sauce. Yeah.. they are a problem for us.
Namdi played man and zone.. agree on when he went to the eagles how it was different for him. Sauce plays man.. also Saleh has had him play zone on fast WR'S like Waddle and Hill.. also Namdi has some injury problems.. besides when you have a beautiful wife like Kerry Washington making plenty of Mmmms.. the decision to retire shouldn't be that hard..Awesomewhy was a zone corner in a perfect situation in Oakland. Gardner is a man corner, that translates everywhere.
No he wasn't. Even after trading down, he was available to New England.he was off the board long before we ever had a shot at him
