That was YEARS ago. 2007 I'll give them credit for. In 2011 the pats had no business being in the SB - we had a weak D and offensive line. Conversely, the Giants with their strong pass rush was able to get after Brady. our offensive line this year is stronger and their pass rush is weaker. The only way to neutralize Brady is through the pass rush.

Giants had no business being there in 2007.

The giants in 2007 had one of the best offensive lines in the league and certainly did not have a weak defense, That roster was pretty strong

In 2011 their pass rush turned it on at the perfect time, When you can get there with 4, that greatly masks any weaknesses you may have with your Linebackers or secondary. Giants had good talent on offense otjer than their offensive line that year, Luckily for them it played better in the playoffs. They got hot, they deserved to be there, They beat the NFCs top seed convincingly. Then beat the NFc 2 seed and the AFC 1 seed. They may not have had a strong roster, but they had a hall of fame coach and a hall of fame quarterback, and a pass rush. Thats a deadly combination

The pats have lost Super Bowls to worse Giants teams. There is no revenge to be had as the Giants aren't very good.

But if they somehow won, if Eli took 3 rings from Tom Brady there would be a serious debate about Eli's place amongst the all time
Greats and how damaging it is to Brady's legacy that he could never beat this window licker.

A sports world where Eli has 3 rings at the expense of the Pats isn't a sports world I can stand to live in

If that happens I am moving to Canada with Bill Simmons and Cousin Sal.

I would expect something like the 2011 NFC championship game. I remember Eli taking a beating in that game, dude just kept getting back up. I have a lot of respect for guy, which people here probably don't like

I agree but I think one was a forced fumble so some credit goes to the giants for that, but still gotta protect the football
