It wont matter anyway, hes made it very clear he wants to play and live on the west coast. His wife and kids never moved to Boston this whole year, they stayed in California.

Living out here, I can kinda see how west coast people would generally hate the idea of living on the east coast. Conversely, I don't really like the west coast and am pretty much just waiting for a good opportunity to move back to New England.

Then again, the last free agent to play the "I just want to play on the west coast" card was CC Sabathia, and look where he ended up.

God get all this baseball garbage out of here.

As it says 'athlete' and not football player, my answer is David Beckham!

Never liked him! And I still don't think he was such a great player, he had a great cross and free-kick but that is about it!

the big 3 on the yankees are overhyped:

1. jeter - made a career mostly of singles

2. arod - made a career out of steroids

3. texeira - $20 million to a .256 hitter

you can throw in cc sabathia who only does well against average teams like the orioles.

I strongly disagree with you on all of that.

IF you want to switch it up you can say that the Red Sox won 2 championships in the 2000s with David Ortiz and Manny, both juicers.
