OT: Matt Ryan to Colts

I actually like Matt Ryan. I would root for him for all games outside of game with pats. I think colts are probably a monster team now. Looks like OBJ and /or Julio might also step in there.

As much as I love Julio, being a Alabama alumni and all, but he is done. He just can't stay on the field. His injuries have always been an issue for him, even early in his career he did something to his foot and ankle that he just couldn't fix. For the last few years in Atlanta, he didn't even take part in preseason camps.
In the 10 years he was a Falcon, he only played in all 16 games 4 times. He only played in 10 games with the Titans last year. Don't get me wrong, he is a beast and that might be the reason he is injured so much, but a team needs their #1 receiver on the field.

OBJ or Julio would push the Colts backwards. Julio is shell of himself, and OBJ will be out until after Thanksgiving. I think Ballard is smarter than that.

Some Teams are Loaded with extra picks in the Second and Third Rounds we might have hard time getting a Trade Partner for #21.

I do not follow. If a team has an extra 2nd and 3rd round pick, isn't it more likely they would trade their extra picks for #21 versus their original picks? If they trade they have 2 1st rounders plus a 2nd and a 3rd. Seems ideal to me.

Some of them have First Round picks and their 2nd Rounders are before ours. There is not Big Talent drop off from 21 to 40.

There could be a talent drop off. Someone could fall to 21 that another team covets (Williams). 21 is about the end of the range for a Top 15 player falling, so it might work out well.

We all know that Teams get giddy on Draft day over prospects. Look at Green Bay for instance who has Two Firsts 22 and 28 plus Two Seconds. I could see a Team dealing with them instead of us. They have a lot more capital than us: nothing is etched in stone I'm just saying. Quite a few Teams have Second Rounders that they could stand Pat with.

But Green Bay could easily jump in front of us and nab Williams it wouldn't cost them alot especially with their excess draft capital.

#21 one pick before GB is ideal, a perfect spot. GB lost Davante Adams so with 4 picks in Rounds 1 and 2, it is likely GB picks a WR at #22. If Williams is available at #21, a team has to trade up to get him, or GB will take him at #22. Pretty ideal spot to me, outside the Top 15 and one spot before GB at #22.

Could but the fact we are talking about it means there is likely to be activity. There are always options. Pretty good spot to me.

GB needs a WR that can play on Day 1. That's not Williams. Jeremiah has them picking Olave & Dobson.

I wouldn't mind us having Two Seconds in this Draft. With one of those seconds being between 32 and 40.

Definitely understand but if you could get the next Randy Moss for even later in the year would you pass?? I remember many moons ago when First Rounder Terry Glenn was activated later in the year. You could immediately see that he was very good. IF I'm the Patriots I'm Drafting Jamerson Williams don't think we'll measure up in the AFC this year hope I'm wrong. But it's definitely the power Conference and our Team is lacking in many areas.

Quick point Green Bay have done well in Drafting WR's.

Did Jeremiah have Williams going before Olave - can't imagine Jeremiah projecting Olave before Williams - only PatsFans could do that.

If GB has a choice between Williams or Olave, they will pick Williams. You think GB is going to pick Olave over Williams because Williams might not be ready until Halloween in his rookie season? Wow!

Pats will not draft Williams. Buffalo did not punt, we are going defense early and often.

Yes, he had the Patriots picking Williams right before them.

We do understand their fears but its a QB and WR league NOW! on Offense we have the QB we don't have the WR. I don't think the Defensive Player at that particular point is going to be more valuable than the Offensive Player I could be wrong. I expect a run on WR's and I want us to get one from a Big School early on. I maybe little biased here but I'm liking Jameson Williams by the day the Patriots would be foolish to pass on such a prospect if they have the opportunity to get him. Our Offense is going to have a hell of a time keeping up IF we don't get Faster on the outsides. We desperately need a Home run threat.

I agree with most of this, but we also need a DE opposite Judon, a DT to plug the middle, a fast LB to threaten mobile QBs, and a shutdown outside corner. Agholor comes off the books in 2023, I am curious if there are any appropriate outside WRs in the 2023 FA class that BB might want. BB always keeps a fast outside receiver, maybe he will splurge in the 2023 FA class.

But he could splurge on the wrong class like he did in 2020 Agholor and TE Jonnu Smith I would take most of the WR's in FA 2022 over Aguilar.
