OT: Joe Burrow out for season

Can you imagine what the officiating will be like in the KC playoff games, the NFL will make it known that they want Taylor Swift attending the game even though she said no to performing at halftime.
If only they did this when the Cowboys played the Giants in 2007 with Jessica Simpson dating Tony Romo.

Chiefs about to win back to back Ships. Ravens lost Andrews for the season as well. Easy road for KC to the big game. Not sure Mahomes will catch Brady but they're sure about to make it very interesting.
Miami seems like the only real threat to KC right now in the AFC. And Miami has flopped against every good team they played.

Kinda seems like Philly or the Niners are going to have a shot to avenge one of the recent Super Bowl losses to the Chiefs.

I'm already mentally prepared to see back to back champs

Can count on Kyle Shanahan to **** it up ...

Chefs might not even make it to the SB.
My pick is Baltimore

KC is going to smoke Philly
Andy Reid after a bye is a lock like Tom at Gillete

They're due for a Mahomes or Kelce season ender. Their injury luck has been insane.
Mahomes hasn't played a playoff game outside of KC... EVER.
Look at the clusterfvck from last year when the league gifted them the top seed.
And there seems to be an awful lot of calls that go their way on both sides of the ball..
It goes beyond luck with injuries.

Out team, the Patriots is swimming in a giant toilet this year.

It also feels like there is no other team that is both consistent and likeable.

I just don't see any real challengers to the Eagles and Chiefs right now. 49ers will get their first test against the Eagles soon.
KC would need to lose to Eagles on MNF because their schedule gets pretty easy after that w/ only potential loses against BUF or LAC. It would have to be those 2 to give them 3 conf. loses, same as BAL. That would put them at 12-5 w/ a 9-3 conf. record.

BAL could take over 1st seed w/ KC loss to PHI but face tougher schedule. They already have a 5-3 conf. record so can't lose any more AFC games. If they beat everyone left but 49ers, they end w/ 13-4 record and HFA. If they lose to MIA or PIT, it's KC's #1 seed.

MIA's another possibility but those last 3 games are brutal.

Yea, don't see anyone taking top seed from KC unless injuries stop them. **** the Chefs.

I was being facetious but it’s an outside possibility. The Pats would have to beat the Giants, Chargers, Broncos, Steelers, Jets and Bills and lose to the Chiefs. None of those games they have to win are outrageously tough. The Chargers and Steelers are two teams Bill has historically been able to handle without much issue defensively, and Buffalo may be in full meltdown mode by the time they get to round 2. So it’s… possible… if they swap to Zappe (or whoever) and that guy is substantially better.

Would also require several AFC wild card contenders falling off since the Pats are about 3 games behind currently, but with two of them (Cleveland and Cincy) primed to, and Buffalo looking like a mess, it could theoretically happen. I’ve run a couple scenarios in the playoff predictor where Pittsburgh helps out NE and mostly hands losses to the AFC playoff contenders it has yet to face, and the final wild card spots end up going to Pittsburgh at 11-6, Houston at around 9-8 and NE at 8-9, who gets in because they have a better conference record than the other 8-9 teams. They’re 2-8 now but half of those losses are to NFC teams.

Dooshnozzle is owed a NY pizza.

Thin crust, nice sauce, not too much parm, lots of mozzarella. Standard 7.5 grade.

the bills window closed the moment they lost to kc in 2020... its just taken 3 years for that to sink into their frozen heads
When Daboll left it hasnt been the same.

These days the Chiefs are winning with the # 1 defense in the NFL. They are not out there playing pinball high scoring offense anymore. Mahomes just plays good enough to be up by 2 scores with time running out for the other guy or engineer a game winning drive to seal the deal.

KC defense high points given up is 24 vs Denver and the KC offense had 5 turnovers. Bottom line is the KC GM has been killing it in the draft on defense anyway.
