Jones claimed he was unaware of the comments. When told about Hardy’s “blazin” statement, Jones’s immediate response was “Oh my goodness.” He then briefly paused before offering an explanation.

“Well, you’re not allowed to have guns on the football field. We all know that’s just a way of expressing yourself. I hope his guns are ablazin’,” Jones said.

Jones was then informed about Hardy’s reaction when asked about facing Brady this week.

“I love seeing Tom Brady. You seen his wife? I hope she comes to the game. I hope her sister comes to the game,” Hardy had said.

Jones’s response?

“When I saw him marry her [Gisele], Tom went up in my eyes 100%. She’s very very attractive and it shows what an outstanding individual Tom is.”

Wow, someone puuuhleeeeze tell the Pats to foot stomp Jerry's team into submission, Enough is enough already

The whole thing is just weird. Jerry Laurel and Hardy.

I thought this was supposed to be a professional football league?

Well apparently, the Cowboys are too busy playing a game of "Who's wife is hotter"

This is the point. He's the owner of the ****ing team. I don't hear Bendover Bobby saying anything this week.

He was asked a question, what do you want him to say? "No comment"? Jerry's a bit senile now anyways so its kinda understandable and pretty tame going by his previous history.

Yes, or a professional non-answer answer. You know, like professional businesspeople do.

Just because some ******* in the media asks you a question, doesn't mean you're contractually obligated to answer it.

He's trying to talk **** in order to attempt to motivate his team, and also so he can make sure he gets on TV.

It's the weakest of weak sauces, and pretty lame for someone who owns the most valuable franchise in the league.

The media has succeeded in blowing up yet another non-issue, aided by Jerry Jones saying some dumb **** into a microphone. Jones shouldn't have said that, but this non-issue never should have been brought to him for comment in the first place because none of this stuff matters even a little.

A bunch of people are complimenting Brady's wife, and some of you guys are acting like that's a grievous insult. Quit trying to manufacture controversy.

Despite the injuries, it puts on display where at least one Dallas player's head is at. If that's the first thing that comes up, shame on him. I doubt if you ask any Patriots about the upcoming game they are thinking about one of the player's wives/friends, firstly. If they are, they probably won't get on with Coach too well...or at all.

Agree to disagree. I thought he was trying to calm the waters and not create a ****-storm.
