Entourage (‘15)
The Clapper (‘17)
Boss Level (‘19)
And we’re all familiar with his work in the Tide Pods commercials (‘18).
I think you underestimate the earning power. Look at The Rock. All he has to do is follow his game plan.He doesn't really need to be good at this point.
He'll get some acting classes and become a poor man's Stallone.
He'll make high six figures every year, working four months out of twelve, and not putting his body at risk.
It'll last 5-10 years, then he can figure out what's next.
I don't blame him at all.
IMDB has him with 13 roles as an actor and over 50 appearances as himself mostly interviews but some TV series like Crashlete. I think at a minimum he has decent revenue stream as an actor but if he needs to get a lot better if he ever were to be considered for a lead. He's shown some improvement but now if he's retired he'll have to really take it seriously if wants to ever get lead roles. I think he's been ok in the roles I've seen but nothing yet indicates he's headed to the A list.Another pitiful acting performance, but it’s hardly his first. According to IMDb:

Plenty of good roles that could fall in his range if he can actually get better. And even if he doesn't improve there is still plenty of roles where they can work around his acting skills. He's not turning into Daniel Day Lewis but he's also got a lot of work if he wants to try to be the next Rock. But he doesn't have to be the Rock to get decent work too.No one is going to take Gronk seriously as an actor unless he acts like Gronk

His Jack Links Jerky commercial with Stephen A-hole Smith induces vomiting and seizures for those ill-prepared for the unseemly spectacle.Another pitiful acting performance, but it’s hardly his first. According to IMDb:

I hope it works out for him ... even if it doesn't he's made a lot of money he'll be fine.
It takes quite a bit of focus and discipline to be an elite athlete. If Gronk can channel that seriousness into his craft, he'll generally be successful regardless of what he chooses to do.I fear that Alex Karras as Mongo is Gronk's ceiling as an actor.
