Yes, it's true they were blown up today but it seems kind of silly to try rubbing it in on them considering they just beat us last week.

We've been all over that already...

...and I DON't rub it in to teams I respect.

Us? And lets face it the officiating beat the Pats last week.

There are some other facts about 73% of Patsfans posters you could probably say too, such as how they love bringing up the names of washed up players that were once stars, or even just notable. When it doubt, listen to the majority of the public, then do the opposite.

So are you saying that 73% of the posters on this very board are idiots? That wouldn't be a very popular statement.

Did Roethlesbooger really just say that "HE" got Bettis to the Super Bowl?

It's over. Pitts moves on to Super Bowl XL. You heard it here first.

Good call Mike.

OT: Denver/Pitt Game Thread

"I think we coughed it up as opposed to any real takeaways, except for CB, and my wife coulda caught that ball. We lost the game ourselves and that is why so many loyal fans in here find this one hard to swallow, esp in the BB & TB era...whether they are or not, Denver should be worried, esp if Lebeau has that solid a game plan next Sunday...let me go so far as to predict that all the pressure will cause Jake to make mistakes, potentially game -losing ones...."

...what I said the past week...Denver did not belong, NE should have been there, not saying they would have won (well yes I am), at least they would have been better than the Broncos...

I have not seen Bronco Freak around, I was not for banning him however I am thinking he won't be around a lot...

Good luck Steelers....

Ooooh, I switched over to the pregame for the NFC game....did he really say that? LOL!!

That said, a fine job by the Steelers, and IMO, not really a shock. I don't know why, but I never for one second thought the Steelers would lose this game. Perhaps because I had no rooting interest in either team, and my emotions usually lead me to doubts. In any event, the theory that the Steelers are better on the road without all the "they choke at home" pressure on their backs continues full force.

Yeah he did, and he did. Told the Bus if he stuck around he'd get him there. Kinda like what Tommy promised the Cigar Store Indian as I recall.

You know huskeralk, the added silver lining in all this is both you and your better half have misery to share for the off season. Should make it a little easier on the rest of us....

Please don't include Bledsoe in that list. He did his best to throw that game away, including that tremendous pass directly into the breadbasket of a defender that was miraculously dropped.

Doesn't it still just gall you when Bledsoe gets more credit than he deserves for that game, and Kordell gets none....

Ehhh..my wife is just a Broncos fan because of her dad more or less. She doesn't take football very seriously at all. I talked to my father in law yesterday about what he thought of this game. He said if the Broncos lost, he would be an idiot to get really upset over it considering they had already won two Super Bowls and alot of teams will never even see 1 super bowl. Sorta made sense.
