As Julian Edelman continues his first training camp with his new quarterbacks, it appears he’s already meshing well with Cam Newton.
On Wednesday, Newton tweeted out a photograph of the new teammates sharing a laugh alongside a few emojis.
With fans unable to attend camp due to COVID-19, here’s a look at the potential 2020 QB/WR duo.

Newton and Edelman had previously worked out a few times together before camp opened earlier this summer.
Last week, Edelman had nothing but praise for Newton during his first press conference of the season.
“He’s a specimen for sure. When you first meet him,” Edelman said, “just his stature . . . The dude is large. Put together well. And he’s got great energy. He’s got a great energy about himself. I was really impressed with his work ethic and his mindset.”
