@NFLCharean: Cowboys have signed La'el Collins, according to a source.

Best OL assembled in a decade?

The kicker is that he'll be playing left guard (cough, cough @Rob0729).

That is one stacked O-Line. And of course he's playing guard. That's his natural position in the NFL. Why anyone in their right mind that watched this kid at LSU would think that he was going to play tackle at this level is beyond me.

Brown, Easley, Seal and Branch will eat them for breakfast.

I already admitted that I didn't take into account that his own self scouting could have said he can be an elite guard and an average tackle and decide to be a guard. I admitted I could be wrong already two days ago.

Pretty much signed at his first stop. Probably where he wanted to be and a very good situation to learn from 3 really good players.

Damn is that an awesome O line...

Guess supafly conveniently missed you saying that. He's free to check your post history and look like an idiot once again.

But according to some media people on twitter Dallas sees him as a Swing G/T. But given that LG is the weak link on that line is if he is good off the bat, hard to see him not the LG spot. But we'll see, guy could come in and just translate to the NFL at first.

Although he visited Dallas first which indicates that was his preferred destination so he may have well took their offer and agreed to play whatever position just to play there. If some other team was his preferred landing spot offered him a spot a T he would went to them.

You just know that if WE signed him, we woulda been called cheaters.

Expect Trey Flowers to give the DL the scouting on report on him. He was the only guy last year to own Collins.

God damn! I hope the cowboys call me, I can run thru that line. Darren McFadden is going to run for over 1000 yards if he stays healthy.

Thread title incorrect, should say "OG: Cowboys sign La'el Collins"

so is he totally cleared? with this deflategate nonsense I stopped following this case.

Dallas kept Josh Brent after he killed a teammate. They drafted Dez Bryant. They Drafted Randy Gregory this year. They took on Pacman Jones for a year.

Good thing the Patriots didn't take a 3rd round, or later, flyer on a first round guard, though. Publicity, and all.

Nope. Instead the Patriots took a long snapper in the 5th that they'll have no use for in the next two seasons.

I brought it up because you were adamant about it to the point of responding to multiple comments like anyone who believed that he could play guard was crazy.

I'm basically just busting your chops, though. If anyone has been wrong many times in the past, it's certainly me, just the same with any of us.

He chose to respond to the posts of others in an attempt to point out how wrong we were. I'm allowed to bust his chops a bit, just the same as he'd do to me--thank you very much. I'm sorry that I wasn't glued to my laptop for the past 20+ hours to have seen Rob's headlining apology...give me a break, dude--FFS.

Once again--if you have an issue, then act like a man and deal with it. I attempted to reach out to you via PM yesterday. Life is too short to have internet tough guy battles, don't you think?

If my "reputation" was half as bad as you're insinuating, why do you have more than 5x the dislikes in such a short amount of time? You're just pulling stuff out of your butt man. My reputation on the site is just fine, and has been for about 7 years. Let it go, bro. It's time to move on
