OT: Coaching firings around the league

Two posts about the same subject within one minute. You seem borderline giddy about the thought of an antagonistic meeting that ends with Kraft firing the greatest coach in NFL history.
No just the way my mind works constantly wondering.
Process improvements always thinking of what is the next step and best way to improve everything.

Drives my wife crazy.

But I don’t settle.

Vrabel kept his job after that massive choke? On November 17, the Titans were 7-3 and the Jaguars were 3-7. All they had to do to secure the division was win one more game and instead they went 0-7. That's brutal.
Talking about brutal.

BB is way too proud and stubborn to fire any of these guys. That would be a direct incrimination of himself, that he screwed this up, and he will never be so overt with it. He'd probably quietly move someone to another role around April when no one is paying attention, and then not even let anyone know until the first roster comes out in July.

And yet he fired Corwin Brown and Dave Guglielmo. Both guys he hired.

Arizona Cardinals coach updates: Vance Joseph 'lead candidate' to replace Kliff Kingsbury

What’s the deal about Kliff Kingsbury? His Cardinals improved each of his first 3 years compared to the prior, until they took a step back this year. Rumors are he’s potentially on the hot seat. Anyone understand why? Seems like one bad year after solid improvement is an overreaction when looking from afar.

I ask because Albert Breer (ew, I know) posted in an article yesterday that he verified that the Patriots have done some homework on him as a potential OC candidate. Seemed pretty intriguing to me, knowing his direct experience in Belichick’s system, but generally running a more “modern” offense. On the face of it, sounds like an interesting option to potentially blend the old with the new.

At the end of the Hard Knocks episode when the Pats beat the Cardinals, during their post-game handshake Bill was heard saying to Kliffie “I’ll call you…”

Hmmm…

Brown was not right in the head. BB had no choice

True. But he was a failure and BB DID fire him.

BB Fired Guglielmo when it was clear he wasn't a good fit.

My understanding is that Gugs contract was up and never extended. That's not the same as being fired.

Same thing with Dean Pees, but he was kind of acknowledged as having been fired. I think Belichick doesn’t want to embarrass anyone publicly… except for FredEx and Charley Casserly….

Correct. We don't know why he was fired is my point.

Googs was easy.
