He should have been suspended after he kicked Adams in the groin. That was a bush league play and a bush league response from the league. Now, all you're seeing is a league looking to extend the series given the financial incentive to do so. Meh.

I think it's arguable that the Adams kick was purely accidental.

There's a ton of similar kicks. Only difference is there was nobody caught in the worst spot to receive one.

No, I completely disagree with you. Green's jumping motion was a straight up and down, one that did not require him to kick out at any stage during that process. Furthermore, if you do a minuscule jump off the floor, kick out your leg and feel for yourself just how unnatural the motion is.

Green is a very good basketballer but he's a dirty SOB.

Go look at his 3Pt FG% this year as compared with his years with the Heat. He was a 37% shooter with the heat and he's 30% now. His jumper is terrible right now. Why would someone who really wants to win use a weapon that he knows isn't working? In your warped mind, it would make him a better player to do something that gives his team a worse chance of winning.

Yup. Still can't feel bad for Green though. He made his bed and the league found a chance to extend the series. Not that it's the right thing to do, but this was punishment for previous incidents. Both these dudes need thicker skin.
