Bruins choked vs panthers, again

Not sure that you can say they choked just because they gave up a lucky/fluky goal at the wrong time.
Brutal ending but can’t score one goal at home and expect to win. They needed Pasta to come up big. He unfortunately didn’t. Overall, they just didn’t have enough talent, especially at forward, but also at the back end of their defense.

Panthers are just better, unfortunately. Last year it was a shock. This year it sucks but less jarring.

The team this year was not as good as last year and they did well with what they have. Would have liked to see a game 7 but maybe next year, they have a lot of cap space and need a couple better players on offense and a defense man.

This. And people don't respect Florida enough. They're a good ****in team from top to bottom. Certainly beatable but they're who Bruins fans think our team is.

I'm not a hockey expert but we need serious help on D. Specifically on the blue line, offensive end. We have guys that can move but the puck dies too often at the blue line in their end.

Hats off to Sway. Carried this team as far as he could. Fell short but he should be proud.

Went to a bunch of games this year with my kid and had a blast. Bruins games are great and the best ticket in town imo compared to the Sox (F them), Pats and Celts. Celts games are fun but the B's have the best crowd. Best sport to watch live imo.

This. Florida has better and more skilled players. After the first/second line…the Bruins have many forgettable players. Plus Debrusk continues to disappear and reappear

You're preaching to the choir though many B's simply never appeared to begin.
I couldn't believe DeBrusk actually netted 27 regular seasons goals because his ice time is so completely unmemorable.

That being said, verses Florida in the post season....

Plus Debrusk continues to disappear and reappear

DeBrusk's cap hit can appear somewhere else next season, thank the Hockey Gods. It's well past time for some other team to pay for both his potential and the disappearing act that comes along with it. I can't recall a Bruins player I thought might benefit from a change of scenery more than Jake F'n DeBrusk.

They played much of the series locked in their own end unable to break out. And when they did, they really struggled getting to the goal. Bruins had better talent in the net and maybe nowhere else. Coyle/Zacha/Beecher not Bergie and Krejci. Need a talent boost in the middle. Continued development of young talent and a key infusion or 2 should put them in better position next season.

Perfectly stated. Best ticket in town. If it wasn’t for Swayman they probly dont even make the playoffs. Pasta is not a complete player. This team passes WAY too much … shoot the damned puck. Defense is horrible. Panthers have a complete team with tough players. Tkachuk is a beast … team built for the cup. Looked as though the Panthers were apologetic towards Swayman after the game. Showed some legit respect
