I played goal and went to college on a scholarship for it. I can't fault Rask on either of the 1st 2. Not challenging Kapenen was inexcusable. I'd say there was 200% of blame to go around on that one. Marchy should never have allowed Kapenen to take that away and Rask should have challenged him. You are dead on with the Finnish style comment, they do not challenge near enough. As North American goalies we are taught geometry, apparently they are taught gymnastics

We had a Finn on our team when I played I Europe. Told me the goalies there all played badminton, of all things, in the offseason.

Like I said, DeBrusk has been the best Bruin on the ice tonight. That nifty little move to his forehand at the last second there was sick, it totally threw Anderson for a loop. That's some talent right there. Kid looks special. Amazing hands.
