McAvoy has had a poor night. I was honestly just wondering what your assessment of Rask was. I have a tendency to immediately throw him under the bus, but I honestly didn't see any bad goals tonight.

McAvoy has had a poor night. I was honestly just wondering what your assessment of Rask was. I have a tendency to immediately throw him under the bus, but I honestly didn't see any bad goals tonight.

And I gave an honest one. Cassidy pulled him to wake his team up. We saw it in November, when the mental mistakes were killing 'em they played tougher in front of Doby because they knew they had to. McEvoy has had an inexplicably bad game but to be fair puck luck usually (but not always) follows the team that is skating harder and making good positional decisions.

They've been the best 3rd period team in the league most of the year but the decision making tonight just has me scratching my head. Twice on that 5 on 3 two B's chased the puck at cross purposes.
