This is more like it, I dont think Marshall is a fit because he doesn't want to have to compete with Malcolm Mitchell and Amendola for the #3 job. Granted I dont know how many super bowl contenders are really looking for a a top two receiver

We needed a new RB in 2004.

Today, our WR corps is already set. Different circumstance entirely.

Not about need, it was about what a bad dude Marshall was and that it would not be a possibility, the Pats did pretty good with Dillon/Moss.. perhaps my comments were in response to the predictable media made up story about the "Patriot Way".....

Unless Floyd doesn't re-sign, Marshall takes a heavy pay cut and quits his weekly NFL show there is no reason to even contact his folks. So a big and fat NO

Of course it would require major short-term lifestyle decision.

Sounds more like the Patriots maybe doing some due diligence as Reiss said and Marshall's people using alleged Patriots interest as a way to drum up some more interest.
