I thought the exact same thing, Gronk and Jules both being out.

Like you said two injuries like that can derail an entire season.

Yep. Up until then they were in decline but still in contention and at least competitive.

1989 was the beginning of the Dark Ages. Thank god I was in college and drank my way through it.

That game (which I remember well) is why my only interest in preseason games is seeing as few names as possible being listed as having been injured during the game.

Thank Goodness that we have a smart commissioner for the "official" patsfans FF league who actually waited to have the draft. Good call, @Brady_to_Moss.

Guys like Nelson, Cobb, Martavius Bryant, Arian Foster (and even Brady's uncertainty) would've sucked to lose without knowing their status heading into the draft.
