Not if he wanted a promotionDon't let the door hit ya on the way out!
For what its worth, his contract was up and we did not choose to renew. Yes, we was blocked by BB and Caserio, but I would think we would have retained him if he was THAT good.
No offense Cousin. Your opinion is well noted.by the end of the year, the last three drafts will have likely produced
QB1
RB1, RB2
WR2, WR 4
TE1, TE2
LT
Starting
OLB
Mike
CB2, CB4
Star
P
PK
PR
KR
and a host of other roster depth positions.
we have had much worse draft windows in our history than we have the past few years
Laurence Maroney over my draft binkie D'Angelo Willkams and Maurice Jones Drew.
Chad Jackson over Greg Jennings.
Not only did We take Jackson over Jennings we traded all the way up to get him with Green Bay who no doubt laughed maniacally as they sat patiently and drafted Jennings.

Now take those picks, drop down a pick or two or three and see who the Pats could have had. In my humble opinion, Ossi was talent challenged.
Perhaps Ziegler and Smith should join him. One can hope.
Cousin remember:
Anyone can Draft roster fillers. It's the players that were missed surrounding our picks that hurt.
We can dissect the last five years 2014-2018 and find a better roster that was available.
>The last five years in the Draft have been not too kind to the Pats. The last 10 years worse.
>The average success rate of an NFL Team Draft is 17%-19% during a fair three-year evaluation.
>These are players still on their Drafted Teams. The successes are measured in Pro Bowl type careers; full-time starter, valuable back up that CANNOT BE REPLACED, and special Teams piece.
2914 James White out of nine.
2015 Mason and Cordona two from eleven and one , no offense to him , is a snapper
2016 Thuney (who may be gone by camp)
2017 2 roster fillers so "0"
2018 Fragile Wynn and more fragile Michel plus a definite maybe in Bentley and '"See you later Izzo" roster filler.
Monti COULD HAVE HAD: D.J. Moore, WR, Maryland (Round 1, Pick 24)Lamar Jackson, QB, Louisville (Round 1, Pick 32) Mark Andrews, TE, Oklahoma (Round 3, Pick 86)
2019 Every one of the picks but one is still on the Roster. Not fair to grade them yet. Winovitch and Bailey are the only ones of note except one more .....Stidham. Most will be gone by year three......including Stidham! The Pats could have had Drew Locke. Would you feel more comfortable with Drew Locke as the 2020 Patriots starting QB?
So since 2014 and not including a fair evaluation of 2019, we have had 7 reasonable Draft picks. Three are starters, One's a part-time starter and one's a snapper. You can't count 2019-2020 as they are INC.
Put your hand up if you think the Patriots Draft well. That is about a 9% success. Let's hope 2019 and 2020 bring us better.

OT: Are we looking at a 14 game season in 2020?
or NO season?

It's not just the Ossi Vrabel has been a thorn in our side.
Whether it's trading In front of us to take players.
Or beating us to Adam Humphries.
I respect the Titans but they are getting to the top of my disliked teams list.
Don't know about that one, but did I not read that Easily was recommended to Billy by Mikey Lombardi? Was Easley the first pick we made after promoting Monty in 2014?
