Unfortunately I was wrong on week six. Hopefully I will be incorrect on week 12 and 13.

Pats/Texans TV Coverage

Looking further ahead, best guesses on who the announcers will be this season:

Week 10: Patriots at Broncos, 8:30 pm on NBC
Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth

Week 11: Patriots - Raiders in Mexico City, 4:30 pm on CBS
Jim Nantz, Tony Romo

Week 12: Dolphins at Patriots, 1:00 pm on CBS
Probably Eagle/Fouts.

Week 13: Patriots at Bills, 1:00 pm on CBS
I'm guessing Nantz/Romo go to Denver-Miami, which could result in back-to-back Eagle/Fouts. Maybe the powers that be will spare us and have Gumbel/Green handle the game, but don't count on it.

Week 14: Patriots at Dolphins, 8:30 pm Monday on espn
Sean McDonough, Jon Gruden

Week 15: Patriots at Steelers, 4:30 pm on CBS
Jim Nantz, Tony Romo

Week 16: Bills at Patriots, 1:00 pm on CBS
Nantz/Romo will get either Miami-KC or Denver-Washington depending on standings, with Eagle/Fouts probably getting the other of those two games. My guess is that it will be Greg Gumbel and Trent Green for the Pats game.

Week 17: Jets at Patriots, 1:00 pm on CBS
Hard to say at this point since the decisions will be made on playoff implications, but I would guess Tom McCarthy and Steve Tasker.

Perfect. The ex-Charger who hates the Pats gets the Pats-Chargers game. What could go wrong there?

....that being said, it's not as if it will affect anything on the field.

(Just in our living rooms)....

.

Kewl. With any luck, it'll show here in Missouri.

As for the OP, I feel like a Tony Romo groupie since he turned announcer, but he seems to make these other clowns worse by comparison.

Yeah man, especially ex-QB announcers (Aikman!). They're less charismatic, less enthusiastic, more cheesy (Gruden) and less informative or well-informed than Romo.

I hope Romo's skills will raise the bar for color commenting and we see some more new approaches.

It'll be very interesting to watch Romo cover the Cowboys on Thanksgiving. Will it be similar to when watching Gruden cover the Redskins?

This button will come in handy....

Tough to disagree with much of the above, but I think we have a chance at the #1 team Week 12.... Mia-NE might be a better draw than Buf-KC..... it'll probably depend on whether or not Miami or Buffalo keeps playing well....

Hi, my name is Peter. But I'm sophisticated so I pronounce my name disjunctively "Pee - Eater".

Place your bets! I put the over/under of Eye-In and Foutsy complaining about calls/missed calls that benefit the Pats at 5.5.

Bonus over/under: 2.5 mentions of the Jets touchback.

I wonder how many more games we will have with boger as the ref and i wonder what's our record with boger as the ref.

I hope he commentates on his flight and the passengers help him out an emergency exit at 30,000 feet

Was Fouts the one who made a deflamegate joke when they played the Jets a few years back?

I wonder how many signatures you could get for a petition of no more fouts for Pats games
