This is his THIRD year with the same average catch per game. Don’t think that Jacoby was her those first two years..
Yeah. It's the 3rd year with CRAPPY OTs and a QB who isn't throwing to WRs.

Are you s**ting on Pop Douglas or for having ZERO catches today?

Seriously. Your posts show a lack of understanding of the game.

Less than the definition of average especially in a passing friendly league. My guess is a lot of guys were NFL open, and the NFL vet QB wouldn't throw it. I'd understand that from Maye for sure. But JB? Nope.

We’ve lost what 9 of last 10 at home? Brutal

I'm worried they are going to try and shoehorn Maye into this garbage conservative brand of offense, the Patriots have been playing dinosaur offense for 5 years.

You watch it compared to most of the league and it's like we're playing early 2000s football.

5 attempts to WR's is ridiculous!!
This wasn't the wind game in BUF. You can't win when WR's are not part of the game plan.
OR - if they are and your QB won't (or can't) look at them, then make a change.

I don't think JB did anything that Maye couldn't handle. He took sacks, missed wide open reads, and mostly handed off.

Lol, had a thought - I wonder if Jacoby is doing more "teaching Maye what to do" or "teaching Maye what NOT to do" at this point? How much of the film do they go through and say "Jacoby did this... that's wrong, don't do that"?

Modernize the offense. They’re playing 1980s Cleveland Browns offense

Either the Patriots are better than I thought they were or the Bengals and Seahawks suck.

At least the Patriots aren't turning the ball over. With how out of whack Jacoby feels on just about every play that's rather surprising to me.

Good point, not like KC did that
I hate this lazy take, there's a big difference between getting the quarterback later when you're an 11 win team going to playoff games and when you suck and you can't score and you're picking in the top 3.

It's not even a comparable situation, what happens when you go 5-12 and you can't get a QB next season do you just keep plodding along going from scrub veteran to scrub veteran and turn into the Browns?

Glad he’s still got a fan club….

They’re a bad team but a competent team. Not embarrassing it’s a step up

No not Douglas - Thornton is in his 3rd year.

I'm trying to figure out how WALLACE was playing LT, but didn't report as eligible and so received a penalty for it.
I think he came in at LT on one play, then stayed on the field for the next play and moved to TE, apparently without reporting. Not sure who else came in at LT, because Lowe looked like he stayed out

Why the f*ck is that relevant in this thread. You were pretty silent after week’s game, I assume.
Yeah I was, MHJ didn’t do anything last week…. But he did more than Maye. Not a slight on Drake but I don’t see any of the other top ten offense draft picks just sitting while an inferior position player takes snaps ahead of him:

MHJ has 131 yards and 2 TDs in the first quarter today. while ANY Patriots receiver have those numbers by week 5?
