What a sad and pathetic group we've become. Now every time someone the Pats drafted, or thought about drafted, or once flew into Logan, will be the subject of a thread decrying the fact that he got a sack for another team. Well if we are going there, then we might as well flagellate ourselves for not getting Aaron Maybin, who the Bills let go, and the Jets waived, and then resigned and now he has 7 sacks (almost all of them coverage sacks) Why didn't we have the foresight to get him.

Connor Barwin syndrome lives.....catch it. Pain is good. Hindsight pain is even better.

Oh yeah, I forgot they canned him when they sold the team. Not watching the game. Maybe they should rehire him since he might have been the only thing standing between this team and historic suckitude.

I wouldn't say they are that bad. They were actually 4th in the league I believe on defense in yards allowed before this game. Since Del Rio left they allowed 38, 14 and 41 points. I guess we'll see next season if he was responsible for the good defense..

I wouldn't say they are that bad. They were actually 4th in the league I believe on defense in yards allowed before this game. Since Del Rio left they allowed 38, 14 and 41 points. I guess we'll see next season if he was responsible for the good defense..

4th in the league in yards.

It's too bad the 4th rank defense didn't watch the Week 2 game of the Chargers.

If they did they would have seen the 32nd rank defense have the game plan for San Diego

Eliminate Gates
Zero big plays
Make them matriculate the ball down the field for turnovers.

Maybe yards really isn't that important when you give up 38 points.

FWIW a Dallas victory helps the Pats in the Strength of Victory (SOV) one of the tiebreakers versus Texans. Pats beat Dallas while Houston beat Tampa....
Just one reason to watch this snoozefest....

I can honestly see the Jets losing the next 2 games. Would love to see them miss the playoffs.
