Jordan Love hasn’t shown too much in limited time. I wouldn’t be surprised if they grabbed a veteran to compete who then won the job. Their opponent’s QB might be one such candidate if they really feel comfortable with Lance.Gonna be interesting to watch GB blow it up.
They're just too top heavy salary cap wise to try to keep the band together, IMO.
And now it's an ideal time to move on, you can see this set of players can't get it done.
Welcome to the Jordan Love Era!
The problem with that -astute analysis- is that the past two years the Packers team has been ANYTHING but average.Ever consider that his teams are average and he pulls them into the inevitable, having not even deserved that?
this clutch stuff is stupid. Playoff games are 11v11 just like the rest.
Worse again injury & mental illness have decimated the passing game. The Rams are going to present a tough task for Brady, even at home, on D. Even if Wirfs and Jensen go, they’re gimpy.
We're in Massachusetts. Spell ORR properly d%#*!@t!It’s amazing how unlike any of the other major sports there is ZERO legitimate argument over who is the GOAT. It’s Brady and then a race for 2nd place.
Just think about it. In the NBA obviously Jordan is the usual choice but Lebron has his large camp and of course you’ve got people who’ll go to the mat to argue in favor of Kareem or Russell.
In MLB it’s a total crap shoot. What are we gonna judge this by, career WAR? I guess Babe Ruth is an easy choice because he has the wins and stats and obviously was the most dominant player of his era but is that more of a reflection on the era? I mean it was the damn 1920s. Ted Williams might be the best pure hitter ever but he never won crap. Mike Trout? Ahahahahah. And then you have pitchers in their own category.
Even the NHL is kind of a debate. Gretzky is like Jordan and is the usual choice but you have your Or camp, you have your Gordie Howe camp.
And arguing over who is the best soccer player ever can start wars.
Over half of Rogers' tenure (7 of 13 years, injured in '17), their defense was ranked in the bottom half of the league in yards allowed. The problem with that -astute analysis- is that the past two years the Packers team has been ANYTHING but average.
Favre has 3 MVP's. Two SB trips. 1 SB win. He's been to 3 other championship games.Favre.
Rodgers defense wasn't the issue this year. I'd argue it wasn't last year either.Over half of Rogers' tenure (7 of 13 years, injured in '17), their defense was ranked in the bottom half of the league in yards allowed.
6 of those 13 years they were bottom half of the league in points allowed.
Yet they only had a negative point differential in two years, one of them in '17 - he was out.
Negative margin of victory in two years excluding '17.
Only three years did they have a yardage differential in the bottom half of the league. Four counting '17.
Mind you they lost the game on special teams too.
Also Farve Won one sb (beat us), lost one... Favre and Rodgers are equal. Also Favre was in bottom half of league in Points three years to Rogers' 0.
They should be grateful and full of regret at the same time.
He's a gifted quarterback, but having a d helps you not only have to score less, but it creates less pressure for highlight-reel plays.
They gave him average defenses (which kinda leads us into our current situation with everybody wanting a Davante type, with a less-gifted QB)... literally average (see first line above)... and they paid for it in the postseason.
History will still treat him well. Ppl just mad that he's got this sigma male vibe and isn't good looking like Brady.

Similar to the 2017-2020 Saints.Last night was eerily similar to Brett Farve in 2007 losing to the Giants. I think Aaron gets his wish and the Packers move on from him as they clearly aren’t winning anything with him. 13-3 three straight years and not even one damn Super Bowl appearance? Pathetic.
They let an inferior QB score on them more. But I hear you. The d wasn't that bad.Rodgers defense wasn't the issue this year. I'd argue it wasn't last year either.
When the opposing QB throws 3 picks you have to win that game @ homeRodgers defense wasn't the issue this year. I'd argue it wasn't last year either.
Can somebody explain to me how home field advantage works? Is that actually a thing? When the opposing QB throws 3 picks you have to win that game @ home
