Sounds like Wynn isn't vaccinated and won't be able to play. Probably looking at Yodny starting at LT. If Brown is good to go, could play him at LT and Owenu at LG. That'd be ideal...it's possible we won't see Brown or Owenu.

Chris Collinsworth was right about Wise!

It would not surprise me one bit if he got that take from looking at the PFF rankings pre-game. God forbid he does more research than that for the one game he has to call each week...

I remember Wynn and Cam being the two noticeable players wearing masks when camp opened so I assume Wynn is one of them. I don’t think Brown plays since he wasn't at practice yesterday. That would leave Mac with two backup tackles and if Onwenu is out a backup at guard. This could be a disaster.

getting everyone ready for Thursday:

I have a real problem with Trent Brown not practicing, but posting stories on his Instagram of the swank birthday party he threw for his girlfriend last night. I guess you don't cancel the party just because you are too injured to practice, but it isn't a good look showing you out partying on a week night when you are too injured to practice that day or the next.

Pats beat the Texans, which they should, they get to 2-3 overall and 2-1 vs AFC. I'm not expecting playoffs but I still think a winning season at 9-8 is achievable.

Beat Houston then they need 7 wins in their last 12 to have a winning season. I'm sure they can beat the Jets and Jax. Then they'll need 5 more wins in this group: Bills X 2, Dolphins, Chargers, Cowboys, Browns, Panthers, Falcons, Titans, Colts. It's not a cake schedule but other than the Bills games it's not a daunting one either.
I set it at 9-8 also. I think they can beat Texans, Jets, Jags, Fins, Falcons, Colts & squeeze out a win or 2 from Browns, Titans?
I don't see them beating the Bills this year, and Chargers/Cows/Panthers look pretty tough and well balanced. Although, if our OL curse gets reversed anything is possible - once our run game can work, and Mac has 2< seconds to throw.

The really sad thing is that assessment is so preposterous Collinsworth couldn’t have come up with it on his own. A coach had to tell him that in a production meeting before the game. Might have been from the same coach who though JoeJuan Williams was worth trading up for to draft.

Looks like a potential disaster on OL this week.
Herron - Karras - Andrews - Ferentz? - Cajuste

If Mason can't go either, we're having to call guys up. Ferentz has more experience, but Sherman seemed decent in camp.
but reserves for this game are going to be scant, maybe Onwenu dresses as emergency having not practiced.

Collinsworth is the owner and chairman of the board of PFF. He’s basically advertising for his company every time he announces a game. That’s why NBC throws all those PFF stats out there for Sunday night games.

Better win this one or the only thing left to hope for this season will be a top 5 draft pick

We need to dump both Brown and Wynn (or move him to guard) at the end of the season and use our first two picks on OL.

Weirdly, finishing third was worse than finishing 2nd last year.

The Pats got the Browns, the Chargers, and Dallas for that.
Miami got the Ravens, the Raiders, and Giants.
