I would guess that we will have four active WR's and 2-3 active TE's. Perhaps folks see Chism as replacing Boutte on the active roster. I don't. He is NOT replacing our starters.

He was facing backups, but he himself is a backup. If a backup player is dominating other backup players then he’s worth keeping. We’re not saying he’s starting, just a guy worth keeping and working with.

That said, he is doing exactly what he needs to do: dominating the guys ahead of him.

Maye had no issue with Milton. He stated he LOVE how Milton pushed him to be better. Loved the competition.

This idea that Milton was ditched because of Maye is bunk.

I just watched the game.
Chism looked good. He did run more routes than just the 3-5 years crosser, it was nice seeing him get into the seem 15 yards downfield. Yes being against guys who won’t be in the league does matter. I wo I’ll d exactly say he “dragged guys”, he broke through a lot of arms tackles, which is great, but he isn’t Mike Alstot.
I think he will be the punt return man, play on special teams and maybe get some opportunities on offense. I don’t think he’s ready to be ahead of Diggs Douglas Boutte or Williams but after that sure.

Good game today and he is beginning to look like he might have a future.
