Uhh he whizzed down his leg when he saw Chaisson coming and gave him a TD. That, at least, was indeed as bad as it gets

I just wouldn't say he was bad overall.
He did some good things considering the zero help he got from his D and run game,

His D and running game did him zero favours today.
He was not as bad as you're making it out to be.
He had a couple of really bad plays, but like us last year, he made some plays that would give that fanbase hope he can be more in the future.

Which plays “give hope for the future”. He had one nice TD throw. Other than that it was a bunch of dink and dunk and garbage time stats, and a negative net points, leading his team to 6 and handing over 7 in a panic.

If you really think a decent high percentage on dink and dunk passes without scoring points gives hope, im not sure what to say to you.

Agreed, terrible play.
I just wouldn't say he was bad overall.
He did some good things considering the zero help he got from his D and run game,

They ran 12 times. They asked him to win the game. He scored zero second half points and handed us 7.
I don’t know his that can be anything but bad.

Yes. Concurrently. Those still playing Pick'em are welcome to make picks in Redemption as well.

Pick'em runs until it ends, even the whole dam season... The guys left are tough outs, as the past has shown us...

Redemption is run cuz i want to play and i usually lose in the first four (or less) weeks...

He wasn't bad, necessarily, but he's not as good as he was in college last year, he backslid quite a bit.
The Cam Ward we saw today won't be long for the league. He's been much better than that.

His D allowed 24 points. Thats a winnable game.
The running game didn’t hurt him, his coach asked him to win the game and called 12 runs. He failed, putting up -3 3rd quarter yards and giving away 7 points.
Whether he was good or bad isn’t impacted by how many games he has played. We aren’t grading on a scale.
If you are concerned about wining games he was bad.
If you are looking to make excuses for him you can point to his dunk and dunks that weren’t close to enough and his wonderful garbage time stats that resulted in a turnover on downs and an int.

That was a solid thumper, no doubt about it. Hoping the improved helmets are why he was able to shake it off quickly

When you are in a close game and your QB gives you -3 yards and hands the other team a TD in the 3rd quarter putting the game out of reach there is do way to describe that QBs day other than bad. Even if he padded his stats in garbage time.

I know you're the resident Canes expert, so I can't speak to his play last year nearly as informed as you can.
He's young, it's his 6th game. He can be better. Will he? Hell I don't know, but I thought he looked really good in the first half, then struggled in the second when he had to play catchup and Tenn abandoned the run and put it all on his shoulders.
