Bills announcers have reverted to form by complaining about refs.

After the roughing calls we saw, that's a stretch.

They were complaining about the overturn of the illegal man downfield call.

But they don't know the rule: the ball was thrown to a receiver behind the LOS; you can have men downfield.

But they are still saying the Bills were robbed!
This brings up the question of why did a flag get thrown in the first place?

The officiating seems to be getting worse each week. The lack of consistency from game to game and even within games is astounding.

On offense, once more I will start a trend

Pharaoh Brown is a good, good find. Very Gronk-esque as a receiver, uses his length really well, seems clutch so far... If only NFL games would show replays more often instead of a State Farm commercial for the bazillionth time I could look at how he blocks, but it feels efficient.

Plus his name is really cool.
Not as cool as Diego ***ot

Amazing what Mac Jones is capable of doing when he has a little time.

Best outing from the OL I have seen the entire year. Brown-Strange-Andrews-Sow-Onwenu is the winning combo we've been looking for.

No clue why the flag got picked up on Andrew's being downfield seemed like the most clear cut penalty in the world the couple times I saw it. I know I'd be pissed if I was a Bills fan about that one

I always thought losing Scar was very detrimental to the success of this team.
That's undoubtedly true, BUT having Tom Brady as your QB also makes line play look a lot easier

Yeah, f*** the wildcard. We're going for the division.
Tbh that's our best chance. I think the Dolphins are coming up on their scheduled late season implosion. We might be in the mix for it

Part of me wonders if they didn't expect the OL to hold up as well as it did today, so they were still calling plays that got the ball out of Mac's hands as quickly as possible. Maybe with some OL continuity they'll feel confident opening it up a bit more, but that remains to be seen.
No, just keep getting rid of the ball on time.

I’m still in tank mode. But I can’t help but enjoy a win against rivals like this.

Also: keep Scar into a hostage like situation.
Doesn't really matter if you tank if you can't pick good in all rounds. They need wins, impact players, and a new qb

Mac played well today. I understand that's an inconvenient fact for some. Take heart, maybe he'll f up next week, and you can start clapping again.

That was a huge middle finger by Mac to his doubters...we will see if he can continue it...
I have zero confidence this is a turning point, as he’s disappointed in the past.

Having said that ; this is exactly the Mac I envisioned after a successful rookie season. Accurate, smart, competitive. There was a LOT to like about the NE qb today.

And the team - who’s seemed listless most of this season - cared about winning from the get go. A good watch. They surprised me today. And Mac was the leader.

I don't want to hear any more talk about no "signature win". This is it
Mac was able to go to the guys he needs to on possession downs - Douglas and Henry. If he can do that, he will be more successful and become more confident. You can see green shoots in the offense today

He reminds me of the strong middle class of players we used to always have, the "do your job" types.

Today Mac hit guys down the middle of the field. Today the ball was out of Mac's hands with Brady-esque speed. Today Mac hit Parker in stride on a slant (which has been open all year). Why did all of that happen in Week 7 all of a sudden? Because of Pop Douglas? Because Onwenu was a RT?

Nope, it is on Mac. We will see if Mac continues, maybe he can since it is year 3, and he might have hit rock bottom against Dallas and New Orleans. I hope so. Mac has the skill set. He only needs to have confidence and play freely like he did today. Going back into the draft to pick another QB will take a long time to mature. Mac is our hope for a quick turnaround.

I do think having a stable OL helped.

Mac seems to play confident when he has faith in his OL and completely falls apart when he doesn't.
