Looks like Cooks is genuinely happy here..

I feel great about that win. First of all they went on the road after a Monday Night game and won, and teams in that situation win about 20% of the time, and that isn’t accounting for how tough the game will be or the fact they were on the road the previous week. While it wasn’t pretty they got it done and that’s impressive in and of itself.

The second reason is because the Patriots didn’t give anything away for a rematch, whereas Pittsburgh imo showed the patriots exactly what to expect from them defensively in a playoff game.

The third and last reason is because the Patriots are completely in Pitt’s heads, especially their leaders, Tomlin, Roethlisberger, etc.......

A rematch in Foxborough is going to present a number of hurdles Pitt will have to overcome, and it will be much harder for them to beat the Patriots than it would have been yesterday.

cant believe Cris Carter is the voice of reason

daym... Vegas was spot on with this game

Couldnt agree more. They showed most of their cards IMO, whereas we haven't even come close to revealing our best hand.

Listening to all these former PIT tools on various NFL media outlets is amusing. From Deangelo Williams to Ryan Clark, I can't wait to hear what they have to say when January/February arrive.

Damn, C’s just “Steelered” the Pacers.

They showed it at the end of the game for a second. You see the guy throw it and Andrews stopped

Some screenshots of the bottle toss. He missed Brady by a mile but probably a better throw than ole Benny Boy's game choking INT.

Anyone got link to video footage of it all?

Edit: Looks like the broadcast cut away after that pic. Going to need alternate footage.

In sports betting, they refer to it as the “Monday night rule,” which occurs when a team goes on the road and loses on MNF, then has to continue their road trip again 6 days later.

As you state, the odds of covering in the second game aren’t good at all, and when the spread is as low as it was against the Steelers, the odds were certainly stacked against us in tremendous fashion, since it’s basically picking the winner straight up.
