The differences between then and now are significant.

  • Collins
  • Winovich
  • Bennett
  • Shelton actually being an NFL-level D
  • Improved play by the young'uns at CB behind Gilmore and McCourty
  • Hightower moving much better
  • Bentley not on IR
Van Noy playing like Urlacher

After reading these posts I'm very excited. Once we acquire, A.J. Green, Tyler Eifert, Emanuel Sanders, Trent Williams, Julio Jones, and Mohammed Sanu we will be okay. Did I forget anyone.

My post doubled as an intelligence test.

The fact that 2/3rds of your bullets involve the same people as December is just icing on the cake.

The defense has really given up 20 points in 5 games (and 23 in 6 counting the SB). I know the 5 opponents this year are not offensive juggernauts, but in today’s NFL that is mind-blowing.

The fact that you seem to think that the four bullets involving Collins/Winovich/Bennett/Bentley are somehow only 1/3 of the 7 "bullets" I posted would seem to indicate that any intelligence test failure happened on your end.

Diggs plus Henry is coming back.

Even though they really have yet to be tested with a good quarterback the defense continue to look good.

The offense is still a concern though. I know the 33 points looke good on paper but they left a ton of points on the board. Plus Washington is the worst defensive team in the league I think.
I thought their defense was good in the first half, tiring in the second. Don't think they are the worst defense. Andy Reid would probably be willing to swap his.

Just read where Reiss wrote that Lacosse played well today.

I'm sorry, but Brady needs help right now, and we simply can't afford drive-killing drops on what should be easy catches. It's not a luxury we can afford.

You forgot AB and Gronk coming back.

Watching them play the Colts right now. They looking rather mortal so far.

Without Hill, that team's a lot easier to deal with. Still, it's putting up 30 a game.

Good D other than that one run, there were six Pats there and they all let him squirm through.

Collins never gave much of an effort from the start of the play to the finish.

something tells me we’ll see this again.
