There are no great teams are in the AFC. Most of the teams in the AFC are bunched together and average to slightly above average. That tells me that the top teams are going to lose a higher than average amount of games. So I won’t be surprised if a 9-8 team gets into the playoffs on the AFC.

Usually, when 10 or even 11 wins don’t guarantee you a playoff spot, the conference usually lopsided with only has a handful of really good teams and everyone else sucks.

when there's a ball on the ground there are very few things you can do to get yourself a penalty, least of all what Mac did.

Holding is holding no matter if the ball is on the ground or not. I have never heard of a fumble exemption for holding. I could be wrong.

Burns was actually injured on that play, but he only went out for a play or two. He didn’t have his major injury until three quarters later.

Either way, I think it is BS believe Jones was intentionally trying to hurt Burns.
