One is a plucky UDFA who always hustles, doesn’t mope, costs nearly nothing, and can play multiple roles.

Everything that has gone wrong is directly tied to Bill's hubris.

Mac has devolved from his rookie year thanks to.... 1) Not getting receivers who get open. 2) Not getting an OL that can block. 3) Cycling through 3 coordinators in 3 years. 4) Making one of those OCs a guy who knew NOTHING about offense. 5) Having a QB coach who never did it before. 6) Having 4 and 5 be true in Mac's second year when he should have been supported by quality offensive minds.

Our OL has been an area of concern for years now. Bill doesn't seem to understand how special Scar was in coaching up his projects. Name the last Patriots OL that's been drafted by the Patriots that's made a Pro Bowl. I can't even think of one who has gotten a second contract. The trend looks to continue.

Our WRs can't get open. Bill has shown an absolute inability to identify even one WR with talent.

Bill continues to draft guys way beyond their merits. Turns out there's a reason everybody was scratching their head over picks like Strange.

Bill didn't play projected starters in the preseason when it was imperative to get them on the same page after a massively dysfunctional year.

Case in point: continuing to play Folk when Ryland clearly has needed live game reps.

Bill's coaching staff is filled with yes-men. They all owe Bill something. He now never goes outside his comfort zone.

Mac Jones, Trent Brown, Onwenu, Juju Smith-Schuster, Parker, Bourne, Elliot, Gesicki, David Andrews.

I won’t get into the coaching, because honestly this Brady vs Bill idiocy has all but ruined the game for me. (Hint: it was both)

But here we are now. This team has taken hits all year. They haven’t had the same OL 2 weeks in a row. Their DB’are decimated, and Judon was the guy they could least afford to lose.

Those aren’t excuses, but just the facts.

Absent those injury issues, we’d still suck, and it all starts and ends with Mac. He can’t set protection, can’t sniff a blitz, can’t get the DL off-balance at all with his cadence, and worst of all, it’s getting clearer and clearer that the players around him don’t think much of him.

He just ain’t the guy. Neither is Zappe.

Go with Grier of the three. Or just suck it up through the year and get a talented try at QB - Caleb or Mayes.

I agree with those saying we need a young an innovative O coach. The league has changed dramatically in the last couple of years. I give the pats credit for building a speed Defense. That side of the ball is set.

The other side, not so much. And I can’t understand why Boutte is inactive. Jesus!

BB plays the guys who gives us the best chance to win.

Agreed! I add though need to revamp the D line.. Barmore isn't what we thought he'd be.. wise is older so is guy. Godchaux is a bust. Need some quinnen Williams type guys up front. Seems every team has one or 2 except us..
