Anybody have comments about Mayo’s level of in-game involvement?Credit where credit is due….they did a better job on coaching today….have to see what happens the rest of the way
I didn't see him do much today, but I will give credit to AVP and Covington for calling much better plays. If someone wants to point to something Mayo did, I will gladly walk back my criticism of him.Anybody have comments about Mayo’s level of in-game involvement?
The London post-game thread roasted him as a spectator. So….. is he learning, adapting, improving?
He got hurt on a routine QB scramble play. Had nothing to do with OL. Gave himself up and jets took a dirty shot.Congratulations to all those who demanded Maye play behind the worst OL in football. You got your wish.
Yeah, no idea what this take means. Dude had an open hole and ran through it, and even slid down to avoid a hit. Jets player decided to hit him anyway. Really has nothing to do with the OL, that can happen to any QB any time they run and slide. He got hurt on a routine QB scramble play. Had nothing to do with OL. Agreed. But I do think it suggests we should teach him that he'll last a lot longer if he stays more of a pocket passer.Yeah, no idea what this take means. It's football he got dinged on the head when running the ball, we gonna blame the OL and say he shouldn't play if he twists his ankle getting off the bus?Congratulations to all those who demanded Maye play behind the worst OL in football. You got your wish.
Was helmet to helmet mid-slide:Anybody have a link to video of the run w the concussion hit?
The below photo from Herald makes me question if it was helmet-helmet as said earlier in this thread OR did Jamien Sherwood WHACK him in the head with that CLUB on his Right hand ?
He didn’t catch the ball with his hands which was the biggest problem.Thornton got bumped early on his drop.
I'm gonna ignore that important detail...He didn’t catch the ball with his hands which was the biggest problem.
Get him some better Wide Receivers and he'll run less.Agreed. But I do think it suggests we should teach him that he'll last a lot longer if he stays more of a pocket passer.
And better oline. But I do think it's a thing a lot of mobile quarterbacks go through, realizing the length of their career hinges on not becoming a runner too often.Get him some better Wide Receivers and he'll run less.
