Just think what this would have been if we had less drops. This game hurt from just appreciating the game, I am glad they won but watching balls dropped on a pretty regular basis was so ****ing frustrating.
On the other end of that spectrum - think about what they can be in future weeks if they can fix the drops. Boutte looked good and Thornton did a little something here and there. Polk has been decent too if you pretend in your mind he caught the balls that he dropped.

Bourne hasn't really done anything at all unfortunately, but if they can polish up Boutte and Polk into the top options then that might be OK. Keep giving Thornton a few chances, and eventually get Baker out there... Ship Osborn out, dude really doesn't do anything and *****es he wants to be traded, so trade him or cut him after the deadline and make him go through waivers.

Dont gatekeep fandom.

Kraft got what he deserved with how he ran this franchise into the ground.
Not gatekeeping anything; I just don’t get it.

I paid $140 for row 8 in Wembley. I doubt that even gets you in the door in Foxborough.

If I lay that much out; I’m getting ALL the Gameday ambience Win-or-lose.

Credit to Lowe for sure, he is (dare I say?) a borderline "good" LT when healthy... Tough assignment today against the Jets front and he did his job. Keep him upright and they might actually have a guy they can lean on for another year if they go WR1 in the first round. Just make sure to keep Jacobs around for depth...
Yeah, with people saying that the draft might not have a premier LT, we might have to lean on Lowe for another season.

1. **** the Jets
2. Big big big props to Brissett. Looked way better today than in any game he started. Looked very fresh. That throw deep to Boutte took brass balls
3. Feels like Mayo got something going here. The guys looked engaged and didn't give up even when Maye left the game. The "soft" comments may have had the desired effect
4. Run defense was fairly good despite missing pieces against a great rushing team
5. The pass defense could have been a lot worse with no Dugger or Peppers out there
6. Marcus Jones struggled at times, but he'll likely not face a tougher challenge again this season than Garrett Wilson
7. Dolphins also lost, so now all the teams in the AFCE besides Buffalo have only 2 wins
8. **** the Jets
Great post Ross

Nice to win. One thing I’ll say is that our receivers need to shut the **** up. This wouldn’t have been a nail biter win if not for their incompetence.

Hopefully they look in the mirror and realize that they look foolish when they don't do their job. In fairness Bourne and TT weren't mouthing off.

AVP should make a point to the WRs that the play call was there and the QBs did their job.

I hope Mayo and staff don't gloss past calling out the mistakes just because we pulled out an upset win.

I think Boutte might be the real deal. He's in position to make the plays when we need him to be there and is catching more than Polk or Bourne.

He's been solid in pass pro for most of the season.
I think people don't realize he's good because he's been in and out with injury.

The best play of the day, for the future of this franchise was the drop by Thornton. That one ****ing played showed Maye has IT, that which is necessary to be a good QB in the modern NFL day. He escaped the rush, rolled out, and threw a great ball 30 yards downfield....they need to get him legitimate weapons on offense

Not true, having played sports you understand what's what. Meaning, if within a short while you start feeling normal again with no signs of anything..then yeah you just got your bell rung a bit. If you show any signs of anything else, then you are done. I mean Edeldude got rocked din 49, probably concussed but they let him play.
Signs of concussion include "confusion or feeling as if in a fog", also known as cobwebs.

Anytime you can beat the Jets, pretty much end their season, makes me happy. So happy for Brissett, he played really well, a wonderful game for him. Today, he played like what I thought we’d get when we signed him. Some good throws, a nice run, came up clutch on the winning drive.

Just very happy, despite some shoddy play by the receivers, they redeemed themselves late. A lot of positives to take away. Hunter is a beast.

He had some droppsies but overall he is extremely talented!

I was ready to kick him to the curb with Tyquan but he was huge down the stretch. Like to see what he can do over the second half, either way its a major improvement from year one to year two, he looked like he didn’t belong on the field last year. Still needs to improve a bit but another year of growth could see him becoming a true cornerstone to the wr core down the road
