Game Day Thread Official Post Game Thread- Dolphins beat the Pats

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

this is the ****e that happens in miami

Gifted ball going right to McCourty and Myles Bryant happens. McCourty gets that I think he's taking it a bit closer to midfield

and then you got miami getting the lucky bounces on fumbles

McCourty may have taken that to the house, most of the Miami players were on the other side of the field. He would’ve only needed to dodge a couple guys and stiff arm Tua (lol)

Showing up on a division rival‘s forum and then using what is very likely your own burner account to create a contrived chemistry with a (joke of a) poster here, and then arguing that people are being unfairly cruel by rejecting your presence, is some of the most backwards, condescending, self-centered bullsh*t ever.

lol @BB8XSBW is my burner account?

Oh boy…

Let me guess, toofy is my other burner?

You’re not the owner here. You don’t get to “reject my presence”. If Ian decides i’m no longer welcome, I will respect his wishes and leave. But that’s because he’s the owner. You are not.

There is actually an officially sanctioned way to reject your presence! It’s called the “Ignore” button.

Great point! I forgot about the mute button. @dreighver please feel free to mute me, so that you don’t have to see my posts.

Come on, he isn't all that bad. He's obviously going to go with a Buffalo fan perspective. He's had to wait many years to have anything to crow about. I think he's picking on us because we've ripped his heart out for 20 years. Lol, the funny thing is the Bills will probably self destruct in the playoffs. Then we can have the last laugh

It’s quite nice, although seeing as others unfortunately haven’t done the same, I still have to see the breadcrumbs of their conversations.

Trolling is one of the most pernicious things one can do because it’s purely a form of self indulgence. There’s no interest community, no interest in forming relationships. It’s a form of entertainment that solely involves showing up under a narrow set of circumstances when the troll is in a good mood. If sh*t hit the fan with Buffalo, or if New England turns into a formidable team this season, they’ll quietly disappear.

Frontrunning, self-indulging, self-centered behavior.

Trolling sucks. I’ve done a lot of stupid or lousy things in my time, but I’ll never create an account on a messageboard belonging to a team I don’t root for; I cannot think of a more pointless, lousy way to spend my time.

I think you're being a little to kind to trolls but I don't think greencow is bad (If he's the example you're eluding to). I just thinks he's trying erace 20 years of frustration to heal internally.

If deliberately antagonizing others is healing, GC might want to look at some new forms of healing.

(I’m sure GC would argue he’s not deliberately antagonizing anyone, but IMO, showing up on a rival’s turf, even if the intent is to be friendly, is inherently antagonist to some extent - or, at the very least, the person showing up should have the self-awareness to realize their presence won’t be appreciated, nor should they have any reasonable expectation of being given the benefit of the doubt).

That's complete nonsense

Ok, i thought i read that he was. But he would still play better than strange right now. It could take strange a year or two to get to masons level.
Strange is already probably a better pass blocker, but he struggled in the run game vs the Phins.

Did Uche play well Sunday? Did he even play?

I agree and I bet he picks up the blocking schemes and run blocking over the 1st half of the season. I think Mac will get it too, but in the 1st half of the season? I am not sure.

I seen him in at times. The edge position opposite of Judon is non existent.

Didn't seem to be a big factor to be honest. I'd agree in previous seasons, but with Wise stepping his game up I thought the front-7 (especially the DL) seemed to play very well. Need to see it against a better OL, though. Guy seems to be fading a bit but can still anchor. Godchaux proved why he got that contract, he looked very good to me.

In future games, having a true edge opposite Judon (fingers crossed on Jennings) might be necessary.

Parker was a huge disappointing with his inability to get separation or get open. Can’t help but get a kick out of the idiot several months ago on here who was claiming Meyers was their clear WR4.

I was rewatching some of the game and Mac simply didn't play well. Not enough zip on passes etc. The pass to Agholor that was fumbled was a bad decision. Agholor was hit immediately and Montgomery was all alone on the right side and I see no reason why Mac didn't see him.

We have enough playmakers and our talent is good enough to be competitive against anyone imo. Our offense needs to do its part and move quicker as well. I still feel like we will be a good team by the end of the year but we need to find a way to win games like the one against Miami if we hope to even sniff a wild card this year.

I'm not even sure that Mac necessarily has issues with movement in the pocket from a technical perspective, but he seems to have an issue getting happy feet and dropping his eyes, sensing the need to bail when it's not necessary. Could use a QB whisperer, of sorts, to work on that. Joe Judge doesn't inspire confidence. Bill O'Brien, on the other hand ...

I don’t think BoB is coming back here as an OC. After he finishes up his time at the Saban coaches rehabilitation center it’s off to being a HC either in college or the pros.

Bourne played 2 snaps Sunday and finished 2nd on the team in receiving yards. That’s ridiculous. Get that man on the field. Same goes for Stevenson. He should not be 3rd in rb snaps behind Montgomery.
