Classic Brady game

has to overcome the elements and the refs. Still wins

careful what you say in this thread. Tread lightly. No criticism allowed.

we’re 1-3 and in a bad spot to miss the playoffs. Mac Jones is very good but didn’t we already know this? Our defense is good but didn’t we already know this??? How bout you take a shot downfield once or twice? How about going for it instead of kicking an impossible field goal?

Heartbreaking loss. Yet another one we absolutely had but lost it. JJ Taylor and the decision on 4th and 3 at the end were killers in this one. Hated that call to kick the FG. Even if you make it somehow, Brady has a minute and timeouts. That's an eternity for him.

The defense did about all you can ask, of course it's tough to see them giving up the drives at the end but bottom line they gave us a chance in this one despite being sent out there repeatedly. They were obviously hanging by a thread and gave it all they had.

OL is still an issue. We can't keep hanging our defense out to dry or you pay the price. Ball security also still an issue, we're likely a 4-1 team if not for 2 big fumbles. 2 areas that were supposed to be strengths, OL and RB, have been major weaknesses thus far.

Mac is the real deal, at least we got our QB. So many great throws under pressure. Just wish he'd get more help. This team is FAILING him thus far.

That al said, This season is NOT done. We've dug ourselves a nice hole and it's not LIKELY, but if can pull out the game vs. Dallas we have a great shot at being 4-3 in a few weeks. From there if we can sort out our OL issues and improve as a team a run is not out of the question. AFC seems to be struggling across the board, and 2 of our losses are NFC opponents. If not, this season has a real 2000 feel to it, a team that just finds ways to lose games. They will probably be in a great majority of the games that's for sure.

Why & When did Onwenu go out? Is he hurt?

And, when are we get a game where we don't cough up a game-killing fumble!!

Mac deserved that win more than Brady. I'm surprised.

And sorry, but I would have gone for it. 56 yards in the rain when your QB is playing this well.

Lots of positives in this game. We hanged well against the SB champs.
Defense was banged up, but they held the Bucs under 20.
Judon is the real deal, the guy has been solid for us.
Mac looked so much better, he is improving every week.
I wasn’t a fan of us going for the FG, it was close but that was the wrong call. I think they should have trusted the offense converting.

Any team that can’t net a single rushing yard should be relegated to the CFL

Who's next? Texans. Go get 'em!

Brady said he’ll be back up here for games and will be a part of the community for a long time. Sounds like he plans to retire a Pat.
Definitely won’t be a Peyton Manning Colts situation, not that I expected it but still great to hear.

What in the F.UCK are some of you so pissed off about? We caught them short handed and took them to the limit. The rookie QB looked phenomenal. Least upsetting regular season loss ever and some of you are acting like the world is ending.
While it does feel like a gut punch to come that close to potentially getting this win and missing by inches, stepping back from it, it’s really extremely encouraging. Mac Jones went blow-for-blow with Tom freaking Brady, as a ROOKIE. He was eminently poised despite the pressure. The OL seemed to get their act together as the game went on… if they can build on that and get the OL to be at least average going forward, watch out.

oh and the defense was electric. They massively throttled the (IMO) best passing offense in the league and they have Gilmore coming back soon.

Absolutely nothing to feel down about. Mac Jones more than held his own against the GOAT on a national stage. He didn't shrink from the challenge at all. He showed that he was one tough mother****er- taking one shot after another and just kept on attacking.

This loss doesn't bother me at all- Mac's entire career is ahead of him, and unlike the Bucs, we are set for the next decade or so.

all the people that said brady and the bucs were gonna come in and destroy this team, stick to the brady sub-forum
We lost We are 1-3 be mad about that lol

Did you expect to make the playoffs with a rookie QB? It’s a tough road to follow. I know we were all hoping it would happen, but clearly the line is having problems and the new acquisitions on offense are having a tough time gelling….. maybe partially because they’re with a rookie QB, as decent as he’s been.

If Jones is who we hope he is, if/when the offensive line stops throwing up all over itself, the deeper passes will be there and the points and maybe wins will come. Sure missing the playoffs stinks, but finding out if you have a keeper for a QB in the longer term is a solid silver lining.
