I like how you thought to yourself, “You know what this thread needs? Malcolm Butler!”All tho I don't agree with that completely, I think belichick personally cost this team at least 1 SB against the eagles. Personally. Nobody can convince me playing malcolm wouldn't have resulted in at least a slightly better outcome... And that day, slightly was all we needed with tom brady playing out of his mind.
That and another play from Agholor in the 4th quarter where he let them block the ball. He shows no ability to fight for the ball. He’s like Brandon Lloyd out there, but with stone hands and more speed.Mac's taking the hit for his WR.
Agholor didn't bother fighting for the ball, choosing to just go for an over-the-shoulder basket catch. Had he reached for the ball, he'd have gotten it, and gotten the TD.
I've been here since 2007. If you want to be a clown, go do it with someone else.
Ooh, struck a nerve there, eh? Don't worry, your team should cruise tomorrow. And no, I don't want to be a clown -- you claimed that role long ago.
Harry was in there for his run blocking, which was a key part of the game plan. Within 10 minutes we were down 14-0 and the running game became limited. End of story.N'Kheal Harry- 0 targets 0 catches, 0 yds, 0 impact.
We all know that Wilkerson is the better player right now- why wasn't he in there instead of Harry?
They need to find a WR1, and they need to decide whether or not they think Bourne can be a legit WR2. In an ideal WR world, they'd slot Bourne and Meyers as the WR3/WR4 guys, but they likely won't invest the money at the top for that. That and another play from Agholor in the 4th quarter where he let them block the ball. He shows no ability to fight for the ball. He’s like Brandon Lloyd out there, but with stone hands and more speed.
Should be cut this offseason IMO, we can work with Bourne and Meyers as #3 guys (a little redundant to have both though, their skill sets need to overlap), but we really need a true outside #1 guy who can get open, either via speed, quicks or just fighting for the ball. But we’ve got other needs too. We’ll see how it goes.
Lol, I mean, is talking about how we got embarrassed tonight any better?I like how you thought to yourself, “You know what this thread needs? Malcolm Butler!”
Ha ha! It’s kind of like going to a house fire and throwing on some napalm! “Let’s burn the whole ****ing neighborhood!”Lol, I mean, is talking about how we got embarrassed tonight any better?
I feel like after the 2009 playoff debacle. That team had flaws that needed to be corrected and were. Still took 2 more seasons to get back to thr SB. Drafting McCourty, Gronkowski, Hernandez and Spikes the following April helped tremendously. Let’s hope last year’s improved draft carries on to this year.I'm slowly getting more pissed about this game the more I think about it. Besides speed, we are missing violence from our defense. Not just this game, but I can't remember the last time we just had punishing hits doled out all game. We are not capable of making the other team go home sore.
And that fn punt when we were down 14 is even worse in hindsight. It feels like our offense didn't realize we were in crisis until a year later. Like how many points do we have to be down before the no huddle and 4th down attempts come into play?
You've been a clown for a while now. So the "I know you are, but what am I?" thing was a particularly bad way for you to go here. But, then again, you've become that kind of poster.
The NFL is a quarterback driven league. Proven once again tonight.
An ambulance chaser with a superiority complex. You should be in a sitcom.
Thanks for sharing.
Allen was 21 for 25 tonight, meaning he threw more TDs than INTs, and he threw for over 300 yards. He also averaged 11 yards per carry.
