So where’s the stock meter for JC up or down?

The dropped pick, missed tackle on Allen on 4th and giving up a TD to Diggs was a brutal day for him.

I am not talking about Adams or Godwin or Robinson. There are second tier #1 WRs out there.

And before this offseason, people said Belichick would never spend a record amount for the league on free agency or start a rookie QB the first game of his rookie season. Belichick changes with the time. Don’t put anything past him.

And Belichick isn’t stupid. He sees the production from Agholor. He may keep him, but I am sure he sees the Pats need an upgrade at the position and a target Jones can rely on.
Godwin would be amazing here but you're right Bill would never spend on him.

Well, I didn't get the game live after all. I had to wait and watch a full replay. My over all observation was you can't play a 60 minute game in 45 minutes. It was actually worse in the Indy game. Josh Allen is a great QB. Jones is still a rookie making rookie mistakes and being controlled as to what he can do in a game. I am glad to see we have a QB. Illness affected players more Pats players than the Bills

Of course, Harry sucked again. We will be in the playoffs losing in round 1 if we are lucky, maybe round 2. I don't expect to see the Pats vs Brady in the Super Bowl.

Two more to go we should win them.

Go Pats
Thanks for the season. It was fun.

Happy New Year everyone.

“What we ruled was, we had contact on the sideline. And after discussion, we determined that it was incidental contact that didn’t rise to a level of a personal foul,” Smith said. “There was no second act by the defender in that situation, so we determined there was no foul, based on that action.”

This idiot ref really trying to say a horsecollar is incidental..... Guess that means most horsecollars shouldn't be called because they are technically incidental

Jonnu HAS to be involved more.
Ok, then Split. Him. Out.

He’s not getting the ball in 12 formation plays. Splitting him out means a corner has to take him or a safety takes him wide. Neither is ideal for the defense because the chances for him to get the ball in space increase.

Stock meter is still up. Diggs is a tough cover. The stock meter is way down on Mac.

I truly don't get the love for Isabella whose career year at this point is 21 receptions.
We’re desperate for a slot. The wrs sucked today like just about everyone else.

Said it in the other thread.

Bailey was dreadful today punting and hasn’t been good all season.

Starting to wonder if his seat might be getting a little warm knowing how Bill has dealt with problems at punter before.

Meyers & Bourne are better slot guys than him. If Isabella was worth anything he would have a role in that Cardinals offense.

Not really sure what the referee and line judge/field judge saw there. Hughes clearly grabbed and dragged Jones down backwards when he was already out of bounds. Just a horrendous takeback on what was an obvious penalty. Jones could have been seriously injured. It was certainly worse than the Allen play in the last game.

Maybe, maybe not. Meyers isn't quick enough and idk about Bourne.

His seat was already going to be warm this offseason with last year’s Pro Bowl pushing his 2022 salary to $3.9M. Anything other than being the best punter in the league again was going to make that way too much.

Just need to blow out the Jags next week so they get some confidence/swag back and run the table

The one positive offensively I can see from the last 2 weeks is they have shown the ability score when behind and one dimensional. We had 17 4th quarter points in Indy when trailing by 20. We scored consecutive TD's this week in the 2nd half before our defense gave up the final score to put the game out of reasonable reach.

That said, the defense despite carrying us most of the year has been incredibly un-clutch other than Houston and the first Buffalo game. Otherwise they haven't made those stops with the game on the line. and that certainly hasn't changed the last couple of weeks.
